Gameweek 14 of Fantasy Premier League (FPL) begins with three matches on Tuesday night.

Bournemouth v Everton and Fulham v Manchester City gets us underway at 7.30pm GMT, with Newcastle United v Tottenham Hotspur kicking off 45 minutes later.

TEAM NEWS

In a week when we’re expecting a bit of rotation and a few shock benchings, Pep Guardiola plays contrarian by naming an unchanged side.

Fulham boss Marco Silva makes two alterations as Sasa Lukic and Emile Smith Rowe replace Joshua King and Samuel Chukwueze.

The biggest teamsheet surprise comes at the Vitality, where Michael Keane is absent for visitors Everton.

Charly Alcaraz comes in.

Bournemouth make four changes, one enforced as Marcos Senesi is suspended.

Justin Kluivert, Veljko Milosavljevic, Alex Jimenez and Junior Kroupi come in as Evanilson, Marcus Tavernier and Adam Smith are benched.

In the later game, Bruno Guimaraes and Anthony Elanga drop to the bench as Eddie Howe continues to minute manage.

Sandro Tonali and Jacob Murphy replace them.

Spurs boss Thomas Frank is tinkering again, too, resting Micky van de Ven.

Joao Palhinha, Archie Gray and Richarlison also make way.

Cristian Romero, Rodrigo Bentancur, Pape Matar Sarr and Brennan Johnson come into the side.

Semenyo, well anyone but Haaland actually, was your only mistake really. Reijnders has been fantasy pants, no one has Romero and if they did would have benched him and Foden's ownership is low.

    The Bad - Semenyo
    The Ugly - Thiaw

I wouldnt want to play with 5 defenders priced high. Would want 1 playing 4.0 who is usually on the bench. Degreases bench headache and anger towards this game and can use funds elsewhere

Tottenham defenders historically are dreadful. Even Porro never really scored anything special over the season.

Not entirely against it, although Spurs was part of the charm when I brought him in this week.

Burnley is a fine entry point of course, Sunderland could be anything - but Chelsea & Man United after harder to call.

      Since his last rest though:
      02 - ARS
      14 - NFO
      02 - bha
      10 - FUL
      04 - whu
      04 - bre
      10 - MCI
      04 - eve
      07 - TOT

Likes his home fixtures, but a good run regardless. Probably a bit unsustainable, mind.

Arsenal only 2 pts ahead of city although game in head,
City need to get a holding mid-fielder in January transfer window
    & a Defender

Still think Arsenals to lose but getting interesting with the

May as well fall into the foden trap.

Already fell for it this season and got burned. He blanked for BUR bre EVE.

I'm probably still putting my head in the trap again this week... 😆

Falling to this trap adds TV anyway. He is in form now and seems to have his confidence back. There certainly have been worse picks and bigger traps. Form is temporary, class... Anyway, in form Foden should be a good pick.

Absolute complete kneejerk BUT..... Is Semenyo, Mbuemo, Ndiaye out for Saka, Foden, L Miley (bench fodder) for a -8 sooo out of the question?

Seems an unnecessary -8, ahead of GW16's 5FT

Madness taking that hit when you get topped up with 5FTs to restructure just a week later imo

I suppose. Like I said, complete kneejerk and seeing what can possibly be done. And with exact funds to make the move it makes it all the more tempting.
You are v likely right though in that its madness.

Invariably, somewhere around this time of the year there comes a GW when I completely forget there are matches midweek and barely remember to field a bus team. Invariably, my team ends up putting up ridiculous numbers and more often than not it's City players who do it. Foden + H(a)aland + Woltemade with what I can only assume was a jammy assist + Semenyo have already outscored my GW14. Of course, now that Keane didn't play (after putting up 9 third on my bench two GWs ago) I've got Rodon coming in for Senesi, but on this run of luck, maybe Leeds will steal a CS against Chelsea...

Who is more important Bruno or Mbuemo?
Looks like Semenyo is going out from the squad
