Man Utd v West Ham team news: Fernandes + Cunha start

There’s one more match to go in Gameweek 14 and it comes from Old Trafford.

West Ham United travel to Manchester United, where the kick-off is at 20:00 GMT.

TEAM NEWS

Bruno Fernandes has been deemed fit enough to make the Man Utd starting XI, despite picking up a knock in the match against Crystal Palace on Sunday.

Ayden Heaven, Noussair Mazraoui and Matheus Cunha are also in the starting line-up.

Matthijs de Ligt, presumably one of the fitness doubts Ruben Amorim mentioned in his pre-match presser, is not in the matchday squad.

Leny Yoro and Mason Mount drop to the bench.

Nuno Espirito Santo makes just one alteration for West Ham and it’s enforced.

Lucas Paqueta is suspended, so Tomas Soucek earns a recall.

    Will Cunha be that Mbeumo replacement? Really hope he kicks on now and becomes their main source of goals.

      With Mbeumo and Amad gone, Cunha is their only source of penetration really. So surely his role changes to one further up the pitch and leaves the deeper ball progression to the likes of Mason Mount.

      They have promoted academy prospect Shea Lacey to the 1st team, who is a left-footed winger. Amorim said "He's ready", but I can't imagine he'll start a game, just come off the bench now and then.

    Lots of issues to address
    1. Use 1 FT in GW 15 and the BB and in GWs 16 to 19
    2. FH in 15 and then use 5FT in 16 to start building decent Bench Boost team (but 1 FT less than option 1)

    Leaning towards option 2 due to issues in GW 15 but lose 1 FT
