Arsenal v Man Utd team news: Hincapie, Saka + Jesus start

The penultimate match of Gameweek 23 sees Arsenal take on Manchester United at the Emirates Stadium.

Kick-off is at 16:30 GMT.

TEAM NEWS

Mikel Arteta makes four changes to the Arsenal side that beat Inter Milan in midweek.

Gabriel Magalhaes, Piero Hincapie, Martin Odegaard and Declan Rice all return.

Cristhian Mosquera, Myles Lewis-Skelly, Mikel Merino and Eberechi Eze drop to the bench.

The front three consequently remains unchanged, with Bukayo Saka and Leandro Trossard flanking Gabriel Jesus, who scored two goals at the San Siro on Tuesday.

Michael Carrick sticks with the same team that beat Manchester City in the derby, with Bryan Mbeumo once again leading the line.

      That’s interesting but it means that Dorgu is nailed. Such a presence, runs a lot, covers Shaw, goal threat, what more can you ask from your winger? I mean full back 🙂

      Pool and City have been waaaay off it. And Arsenal themselves, despite being 1st haven't exactly been anything special themselves. So yeah. With how Villa started the season, it speaks for itself when they are 3rd and equal on points with City

        I hear you. In my case I’d have Guehi, Tark, Mukiele, Dorgu - all top-tier defenders. And Virgil, a step below.

        Hard to say Mukiele/Guehi are worse options than Tark

          Nice back line! Just don’t bench Tark. I am thinking to bring Evanilson for Ekitike, nice run of fixtures, rested, on pens, he is under the radar. Had Pedro before, but he will not play every week 90 mins.

            He could do well…that said, though, at 71 points from 1600 mins he’s still very much a punt.

              I agree. Def a punt but not a bad one. I have Bowen and the robot, Ekitike is gone, Pedro is the most obvious one but BOU looked good yesterday and they play once a week, they were attacking a lot.

                Good point, but considering you already have Haaland and Bowen, I’d rather look to strengthen mid and def than getting a better 3rd striker.
