I prefer Haaland Pedro Thiago to squeezing Ekitike in at that price

The only upcoming opponent I'll be hesitant to play Pedro against is Arsenal. The other post-Burnley defences aren't watertight, at least recently

Wirtz is more consistent than Ekitike, and that's if you really consider Liverpool a must

Watkins to Pedro. Roll FT to sell Enzo (Wirtz) and Sanchez (Kelleher) next GW

      Nice
Only the Palmer part of a triple up with Sanchez and Chalobah worked the other 2 a waste of space. I knew that but with the fixtures …

Points are points even if more than lucky. No point in ignoring them. Palmer's quality and needs a good run in to the season before the World Cup.

I took a hit to sell him to Raya in GW25 after Saka got injured. Chelsea defence just seems incapable of a CS rn. Most would have called me crazy, I’m already a point up from GW25, and am looking forward to counting some more gains over the DGW

        Rice is rising, not dropping

If his rise will give you an extra 0.1, I'd wait

Rogers hasn't played yet. Gotta see him stay fit through the game, at least

If Rice's rise won't help, maybe a defender to Hill to fund Rayan

Spurs defence isn't a bad fixture for set-piece takers

Thoughts on Mbeumo? Not the greatest stats in the last two, but he got 1 goal and 1 assist, he seems to always find a way to get into the points. Fixtures good, but not great.
More reliable than Wirtz all things considered?

    1. GreennRed

Lots of chances for an OOP 90-minute mid to get goal involvements in any game, so yeah

        Thanks.
Do you think playing OOP actually helps him? It's great when they can play on the counter, but when they dominate possession it seems to work against him.
His goal came from a set-piece situation and his assist from a RW position after the Sesko sub.

        1. Mr Turnip 1
          • 1 Year

The Sesko sub seems to happen every game tbf. I think he’s a great pick. Bought him a couple of weeks back and been very happy. His underlying data has been great all season. Obviously things have changed a little under Carrick, but I don’t think a move up front can have hurt him all that much

He's at the top of my watchlist tbh, I love the guy. Quality finisher, quality player. Will get chances and bury them I'm sure.

Looking at ways to raise cash for Semenyo to Boomo. But nothing seems viable atm with the impending blank/double chaos...

      1. Count Olaf
        • 1 Year

Thanks. As long as he gets good minutes, Semenyo is a keep I think. He always gets good chances and his finishing has improved.

Yeah Semenyo's great, but can't lose Palmer or Bruno for Mbeumo, and Sarr & Amad have no cash. Trying not to let my Boomo bias go too far. I'll probably roll again, the blank is worrying me. Sorry Mbeumo... 🙁

    Saving FT this GW.

    Raya
    Gabriel - Saliba - Richards
    Palmer - Bruno F - Mbeumo - Rogers - Sarr
    Watkins - Pedro

    Verbruggen - Ekitike - Reinildo - Nallo

Plan is Pedro + Palmer ➡ Haaland + KDH in 28

Would you bench anyone else for Ekitike?

Watkins vs Ekitike is close, especially if Forest somehow look weak (again) vs Wolves

Leeds were easy to carve open tonight, so I'm on the fence

Neither forward is in blitz form, but I'll slightly favour Ekitike atm

Depends on how they look tomorrow

Home fixture for Watkins earning him the spot for now

I think I’d bench Rogers for Ekitike tbh

Plan all along was to lose Palmer in 28 to get in Wirtz and or Ekitike but now losing Palmer looks silly and funding either Liverpool in without losing him is very difficult.
Any takers for Semenyo to Wirtz over the next week or 2 but I also like the City fixtures until 31

No pens for them while Salah is around either

I mean it helps to avoid any random Semenyo benching

Which one is better for the next 4
    a) Saliba / Calafiori (tot CHE bha EVE) -> Triple DEF Arsenal
    b) Munoz (WOL mun tot LEE)

      I would go for Munoz

Forgot to say the defender going out is Richards. Is it too sideways or Munoz is different?

Brought Tark for 5.5, so not worried about price changes. Bowen on the other hand I got him for 7.5.

Got 2 ft and 0.4 itb.

    Raya ( Dub )

Gab Tark Hill ( Gudm / Clyne )

Wirtz Semenyo Bruno F Mbeumo Rice

    Haaland Bowen ( Brobbey )

    A. Tark to Munoz
    B. Bowen to Pedro/Thiago?
    C. Roll

    Any thoughts? Appreciate!

I’d definitely do B to Thiago. A would have been ideal before GW26 really but is still probably doable now given Everton’s poor fixtures

Although A makes you quite vulnerable to BGW31. Are you free hitting that? If not, might be tricky for you to get Munoz tbh.

Cheers and tnx. Yeah still not sure about FH. Leaning more towards dead ending. That’s why that Munoz move is indeed tricky! I will wait and see how Palace performs tomorrow.

Cheers! Yeah Thiago seems obvious, some really nice run of fixtures! I really like Bowen though as a nice differential. West Ham has improved definitely and after LFC, there’s that mini derby with Fulham. They keep scoring.

Chelsea assets - especially, lately, attacking - seem to be close to a must-have.

Is Chelsea double-up or triple-up the play?

Anyone given any thought to whether to own Enzo and/or Palmer in addition to JP?

Sounds viable for Burnley but not sure. If you’re using WC32 I definitely wouldn’t

Which Chelsea assets would you back after Burnley?

They still seem as attacking as ever.

I mean Palmer is obviously good. I think I’ll remove all Chelsea after Burnley though and WC then back in if I want them

Hill 7,7,9 after i got him as an enabler in the WC. Has benched him for 3 successive games.
At least I have played BB this time.

Feels like the game has come down to picking the right double-ups.

    1) Haaland & Semenyo
    2) Joao Pedro & Palmer
    3) Bruno & Mbeumo
    4) Ekitike & Wirtz
    5) Thiago & Dango?
    6) Rogers & Watkins?

Forreal. The only double-ups I haven’t thought about going with lately are Brentford and Villa…definitely lots of great attacking options rn

    Heavily disliking my team.

    Verbruggen Dub
    Gabriel Timber Tarkowski Dorgu Andersen
    Bruno Mbeumo Wirtz Enzo Rice
    Haaland Evanilson Barnes

Very happy to use a hit. 1FT and 0.5 itb

    1. Rice to Rogers/Schade/Dango
    2. Dorgu to Hill
    3. Both for a hit
    4. Other?

Not doing that great lately but 5ft and 0.0 in bank and not even sure who to bench or transfer out/in

    Please suggest

    Sanchez
    Timber Gabriel Chalobah
    Semenyo Enzo Rogers Bruno
    Thiago Bowen Haaland
    Dubravka Rice Andersen Esteve

    Thanks

For 27 I just did Tark to Hill make some cash and Hill got fixtures form and value.
In 28 with 3FT would you do
    Palmer Chalobah and Kroupi
    To
    Wirtz Andersen and Ekitike

K will keep playing the fixtures.
Deadend to 31 with a few another 3 transfer before 31 and try to get something decent out cause it only be 10 as I will keep Gabriel Timber Rice and Haaland

2 ft, 0.1 short of doing Rice/Brobbey to Sarr/Thiago. Maybe I will just do Rice to Sarr and postpone Bowen or any Thiago move.

Could bring in Wilson and Thiago for Rice/Brobbey. Any thoughts?

Would you play Brobbey ( Fulham home ) next week and bench Wirtz ( Forest away ) ?

    Semenyo Bruno F Mbeumo Rice

    Robot Bowen Brobbey

    Cheers 🙂
