NOTES
- I was already leaning towards an aggressive approach for DGW25, but Albert Guðmundsson’s injury, combined with ongoing doubts over Riccardo Orsolini’s minutes, has pushed me towards considering a –10.
- At the moment, Strahinja Pavlović and Adrien Rabiot look almost certain to come in, replacing Carlos Augusto and Riccardo Orsolini respectively. A hit to bring in Martin Baturina also feels increasingly likely, given his appeal this round.
- I’m also weighing up a second hit to move for a double Gameweek forward, potentially in place of either Keinan Davis or Albert Guðmundsson, depending on fitness updates and projected minutes.
- Note: If I do go down the –10 route, it will be with the intention of maximising DGW upside rather than chasing short-term cover, so final decisions will hinge on late team news.

NOTES
- It’s Double Gameweek time, and I plan to attack it using the two free transfers I’ve saved. Como and AC Milan are the clear teams to target.
- I already own two Como players in Nico Paz and Jean Butez, so my focus now shifts firmly towards Milan. I’m even open to taking a –5 to triple up on them, especially with solid fixtures to follow the blank.
- In defence, Matteo Gabbia and Strahinja Pavlović stand out as the most appealing options. In midfield, I’m looking closely at Luka Modrić and Adrien Rabiot, while Alexis Saelemaekers could also enter the conversation if he’s declared fully fit.

NOTES
- My Wildcard didn’t work out. The last few Gameweeks wiped out the advantage I had built and I’ve slipped down the rankings. Still, I’m confident I can turn it around with smart transfers.
- I saved two free transfers for this round. That gives me the chance to fix some mistakes and target Double Gameweek players. Carlos Augusto is definitely leaving. He was meant to be a short-term punt, but it hasn’t paid off.
- Riccardo Orsolini is also likely to go. Bologna’s fixtures look good on paper, but their performances haven’t convinced. His minutes are uncertain too. He played 90 in the Coppa Italia, missed a penalty, and Bologna have Europa League matches coming up. Predicting his league minutes feels risky.
- In their place, I’m looking at AC Milan players. In defence, it’s between Strahinja Pavlović and Matteo Gabbia. In midfield, I’m deciding between Adrien Rabiot and Luka Modrić.
- I’m also considering a third move. A hit could easily pay off with the Double Gameweek. It would also set me up well for the weeks ahead, especially with Milan’s schedule looking strong.
- The good news is that the early substitutions last round weren’t serious. Mario Gila played 90 minutes in the cup. Scott McTominay should return for Napoli against Roma.
- Captaincy is the biggest dilemma. Milan and Como assets stand out because of the Double Gameweek. But choosing between a Milan defender or midfielder feels like a coin toss. The same goes for Jean Butez versus Nico Paz. It may come down to late team news.
- Good luck.
