Serie A Fantasy Gameweek 32 is coming, so our experts share their latest team, thoughts and strategies ahead of the deadline.

NOTES

  • Suspensions have thrown a spanner in the works. Both Weston McKennie and Nicolò Fagioli miss out after picking up their fifth yellow cards of the season.
  • Even so, I’m not keen on burning two transfers in midfield right now. I’m holding Fagioli regardless. The weekend rest should put him in a strong position to start the Verona clash next week, especially with those two midweek games against Palace in between.
  • McKennie, though, makes way. He delivered with a goal last week, but Juventus’ fixtures are about to turn, so I’m more than happy to move him on.
  • In comes Ismael Kone from Sassuolo. The fixtures look solid, and he’s quietly been one of the few bright sparks in what’s been a pretty underwhelming Serie A season. At just 6.0m, I’m banking on a steady 4-5 points with a genuine chance of an attacking return.

NOTES

  • After a pretty mediocre Gameweek 31, the plan is straightforward. I have to move on Gianluca Mancini after his injury. It’s frustrating, especially with Pisa at home next, but it’s not a disaster.
  • Right now, I’m weighing up a few replacements: Alessandro Bastoni, Evan Ndicka, Oumar Solet, or Ardian Ismajli. One of those will come in to steady the defence going into the next round.

NOTES

  • My team overall isn’t looking that bad, to be honest. However, we are coming towards the end of the season now, and I don’t just want to stick to the template, as otherwise I’m not going to make many gains.
  • My obvious issue is Albert Gudmundsson, who picked up a red card last time out, so he will almost certainly go. In terms of a replacement, forward options have been woeful this season. One who has been good of late is Keinan Davis. Whilst Milan isn’t a great entry point, his fixtures after that are very good.
  • I’m also considering moving on Luka Modric. Milan have great fixtures, but again, I want a bit of spice and excitement, something different. I actually have the money to buy Scott McTominay or Kevin De Bruyne for Napoli’s good schedule.
  • I’ll likely make two moves this week, using both of my free transfers.
  • Good luck!
