It’s time for our Fantasy EFL Gameweek 39 team reveals. Seven teams play twice this week, so that’s where most of our experts are placing their focus.
Our panel showcase their squads, the differentials they’re targeting and the captaincy choices that could define the round.

NOTES
- There doesn’t seem to have been a perfect time to use the One Club Chip this season, which means I have dragged it along with me for months. This week seems like the last best time to use it with Stockport County, but I’m not completely convinced it will give me a bump in rank. This is largely due to the fact that I’ll be forced into backing other well-owned players.
- With the above in mind, I’ll be avoiding Liam Roberts and backing Corey Addai. I’ll also be doubling up on the Stockport defence with Ethan Pye. He’ll be joined by Ipswich City’s Dara O’Shea.
- In attack is where I feel I’m sacrificing for the chip. I have Oliver Norwood, who will take the captaincy armband. Most will captain him, so if you want to gain rank, I’d try another player with the armband, but it has risk. Teammate Ben Osborn joins him, even after a couple of recent poor showings. I also have interception man Azor Matusiwa. The player I’m leaving out due to the chip is of course Jon Russell, which has risk.
- I’m also leaving out Harry Leonard, which is another risky move. Instead, whilst Kyle Wootton continues to be wasted at centre-back, it opens up the door to a punt on Malick Mothersille, who has not yet converted his recent performances into an actual attacking threat much.
- Stockport and Ipswich are my team picks.
- There is a chance I strip the chip right back to maybe three Stockport players, but it won’t feel like I’m making full use of the chip.
- I’ll also be monitoring the line-ups to see if Wootton pops back into the forward role he has done so well in all season.
- Good luck!

NOTES
- Liam Roberts starts in goal for his save potential, and Mansfield Town have looked more solid in recent weeks.
- At the back, Dara O’Shea gets the nod for his minutes and double gameweek, while Ethan Pye also comes in with two decent home fixtures.
- I’ve gone with three in midfield. Oliver Norwood feels like a no-brainer because of his all-around game, while Azor Matusiwa and Jon Russell are in for their interception potential.
- Up front, I’m currently on the in-form Kabongo Tshimanga as a single-gameweek punt. He has seven goals in his last six games and plays at home.
- For team picks, Stockport County stand out with two home fixtures. I may also take a punt on Cambridge United, even with just the single fixture, as they still have promotion to play for.

NOTES
- Not much to talk about this week. Only seven teams have a double, and most of them are not exactly appealing, especially with the fixtures they have.
- Even so, you probably still have to back the doublers this week. It also looks like a very good chance to use the One Club chip on Stockport County if you still have it.
- Good luck this week. Most of the picks feel fairly self-explanatory, with only a few variations.
