West Ham United v Arsenal rounds off the day’s Premier League football.

Kick-off is at 16:30 BST.

TEAM NEWS

Arsenal are unchanged from the side that beat Atletico Madrid in midweek.

That means Riccardo Calafiori continues at left-back, with Myles Lewis-Skelly preferred to Martin Zubimendi in central midfield.

Further forward, Bukayo Saka, Eberechi Eze and Leandro Trossard support Viktor Gyokeres up top.

As for West Ham, they make two alterations: Jean-Clair Todibo and Aaron Wan-Bissaka in for Kyle Walker-Peters and Pablo Felipe, who drop to the bench.

It suggests the Hammers will play with a back three.

LINE-UPS

West Ham United XI: Hermansen, Todibo, Mavropanos, Disasi, Wan-Bissaka, Soucek, Fernandes, Diouf, Bowen, Summerville, Taty

Subs: Areola, Walker-Peters, Kilman, Wilson, Pablo, Magassa, Scarles, Potts, Kante

Arsenal XI: Raya, White, Saliba, Gabriel, Calafiori, Rice, Lewis-Skelly, Saka, Eze, Trossard, Gyokeres

  1. Scrap VAR. Honestly. The excitement when West Ham equalised. For nothing.

It’s crap, I guarantee in 2-3 years it will go back to how it used to be.

The amount of clubs voting it out will win in the end, as they have the money.

Imagine losing the title due to a foul not being given though. It’s the correct decision. Awful for West Ham fans but it’s right!

      1. Is it 100% a foul? Did Pablo move his arm to block Raya or was Raya not strong enough. Pablo looked pinned.

If I showed you the goals from set pieces this season I guarantee you about a third will involve players hands/arms/legs on keepers, and 99% have still been given.

What about all the decisions it correctly gets right. It's necessary but needs to work better and be more consistent.

Will take the Gabriel haul and Raya cleanie but feels dirty as should 100% be 1-1.

    And I’m a Spurs fan

Without that foul Raya would have gotten that ball.

    Garbage

West Ham should have come to play versus Brentford.

You can't hope to nick a corrupt Walmart team like Arsenal

    Trash game

Raya moving out of the 6 yard box into a mass of players tussling for the ball and impeding himself = foul

Arsenal blocking the opposition goalkeeper so he cant move off his line on every single corner kick = no foul

Absolute utter bs. Game is well and truly gone if this is the standard of refereeing. Pathetic.

A attacking player can stand in the 6 yard box and stand their ground for a corner. That’s not a new thing. They can’t hold on to the keeper though

Not an Arsenal supporter, but clearly Raya was doubly fouled - if that had happened and no goal was scored and the ref blew the foul there wouldn't even be a debate.
Sorry for the Hammers supporters - that game was such a good watch and a draw would have been well deserved.

As goal was given must be a clear and obvious error to send ref to monitor - they have broken that protocol for a split call.

Raya owner as well. I reckon I got 15pts from VAR. Totally unbiased. 😎

Ah well, no Spurs in the Championship next season, then. Was looking forward to a great away day there!

Imagine after all this they just get pumped by Mateta, Sarr and co on the final day

  12. The bar for disallowing a goal should be higher, imo. Not every decision is objective, even offside.

Take the Cucurella offside yesterday when Palmer scored. Was he offside by an inch? It’s crazy.

  13. Calafiori 1-0 winner Vs United.

  14. Half time in Haaland v O’Reilly TC - down 12 points if I come out even I will be very lucky.
