NOTES
- And here we are – the final Gameweek of the 2025/26 season.
- The previous round was a disastrous one for me. Alessandro Buongiorno went off early, Wesley saw red, and Milan conceded late on. Altogether, it was enough to knock me down into 2nd place overall.
- The good news is the gap is only one point, so I still have every chance of winning the whole thing.
- My squad for Gameweek 38 could definitely look better, but it’s not in terrible shape either. The main issue is suspension problems. Both the previously mentioned Wesley and Bremer are unavailable, while I only have one free transfer to work with.
- Because this is the final round, I don’t think taking a hit makes much sense. Any extra move would only benefit me for one Gameweek, so I’ll most likely go into the final day with 14 available players instead.
- Rotation could also become a huge factor this week. Several teams have already achieved their objectives, which makes predicting line-ups much more difficult than usual. Because of that, I’m not planning to take unnecessary risks.
- My transfer will almost certainly come from one of the sides still fighting for Champions League qualification. Milan, Roma, Juventus, and Como all stand out as key targets. The interesting part is that they all play at the same time, which means the captaincy decision could completely define the final rankings.
- Before those matches begin, my only realistic captaincy options come from Inter, Napoli, or Udinese players. Even so, I’ve got a feeling the armband decision will go right down to the wire and end in complete chaos on Sunday evening.
- This time, you guys wish me luck. I’m definitely going to need it.

NOTES
- I’m currently sitting 4th in the world heading into Gameweek 38, so there’s still plenty to play for in the final round.
- Overall, my squad is in a pretty good position. I only have two unavailable players, while the rest of the team should start as things stand.
- The main dilemma now is deciding whether a -5 hit is actually worth it. At the moment, I’ll most likely bring in a Juventus defender. The manager currently sitting 5th in the world already has a Juventus defensive double-up, and I only lead him by 10 points, so there’s definitely some pressure there.
- My bigger focus, though, is trying to catch 3rd place. That manager also has two unavailable players, along with another two who aren’t fully nailed to start. He currently doesn’t own any Roma defenders either, which probably means I don’t need to double up there myself.
- If I do decide to take a hit, it would most likely be for a Napoli or Como defender. Gabriel Strefezza from Lecce is another player I’m considering as well.
- Right now, though, I’m leaning towards simply sticking with 14 players and avoiding unnecessary risks in the final Gameweek.

NOTES
- It’s the final Gameweek of the season, so it’s difficult not to attack the few fixtures we have left.
- There’s still a balance to find because of the different kick-off times, but I want to back the teams that should still be fully motivated to win. Because of that, Juventus and Roma stand out as my main targets this week.
- Roma have an excellent defensive fixture against Verona, while Juventus simply have to win if they want any chance of securing Champions League football.
- Who better to lead them in the Turin derby than Kenan Yıldız? The youngster has the quality and confidence to deliver in a huge moment like this.
- These final two transfers also feel almost mandatory for my squad. Bremer is suspended, while Nico Paz looks likely to start on the bench due to injury concerns.
