Our Fantasy Premier League (FPL) points projections for 2026/27 are now live for Chief Scout members!

If you’re torn between several early squad drafts, use our industry-leading Rate My Team (RMT) points projections to compare players, assess transfers and plan ahead with much greater confidence.

UNLOCK RMT POINTS PROJECTIONS

These projected points will, of course, be fine-tuned closer to the Gameweek 1 deadline as we learn more information. The pre-season friendlies, for instance, will tell us a lot more about each team’s favoured tactics and personnel.

WHAT IS RATE MY TEAM?

RMT is a tool designed to approximate how many FPL points your team will score over a series of Gameweeks.

This takes into account captaincy, vice-captains and automatic substitution points.

HOW ARE THE VALUES FOR RATE MY TEAM CALCULATED?

The values are generated by an algorithm that uses both current and historical data. There is also constant human monitoring so that the model can respond quickly to news, injuries or tactical changes that the algorithm may otherwise underestimate.

We do this to generate the best values with as little bias as possible.

HOW DO I LOAD MY FPL TEAM INTO RMT?

To load your team into RMT (after Gameweek 1 only), you need to type in your FPL ID.

Before Gameweek 1, head to the Build My Team page and enter your team manually via ‘Add Player’ – as seen below.

A breakdown of these player points can also be seen in our projections tables:

Additional information regarding RMT can be found here.

Our thanks to TopMarx and Chris Atkinson for their work on this.

GET YOUR FPL 2026/27 TEAM RATED – AND TRANSFER TIPS TOO

Get your FPL 2026/27 team rated - and transfer tips 4

If you missed it over the weekend, you can now put your team to the test with Fantasy Football Scout’s free Rate My Draft tool.

Upload a screenshot of your FPL team and get an instant rating for your current squad.

Want to know how to improve? Chief Scout members (aka paying subscribers) get recommended transfers powered by our RMT projections, plus ratings for every position in their squad, making weak spots easy to spot and even easier to fix.

    Afternoon Gents,
Any thoughs on team, pretty happy atm.

    Kinsky/Dovin

    Ballard/Nunes/Mosquera/Shaw/Thomas

    Bruno/MGW/Sarr/Cunha/Le Fee

    Haaland/Solanke/Kusi Asare

Solanke can and may be changed very easily he is just a placeholder for now.

King was my 4.5 all last season
I have seen Kusi Asare and I would not choose him for my team
I may be wrong but he didn't look ready when he came on last season
I prefer Slater who I know nothing about except a comment I've seen that he will start

Excluding Le Fee is there a better pick than Sarr for 6.5 or less?

Yes, Sarr is one of the worst trolls in FPL history, KDH for starts, great PPM

Maddison is a great option at 6.5M, assuming he has a good pre-season and is ready to start in the no.10 role for Spurs.

That is a lot of assumptions, quite simply he’s not a great option yet at all

The first two game weeks was a big part of the thinking. It's pretty easy to move off the price point as something emerges that none of us are quite sure about. A nailed Phil Foden at 7m is somewhere I wouldn't mind landing if that turns out to be the case.

5.5 is a lot to spend on a defender if you're asking questions about minutes. That was pretty much my reasoning.

How much do you guys use the RTM tool, and do you think that your OR benefits from using it?

I find it very useful when comparing the points potential of different ownership combinations, especially at this time of year, but also on WC, FH, and any other time I'm when I'm thinking of making multiple transfers, and also for identifying budget basement bench fillers with the best points potential, for example I know little to nothing about any of this seasons 4.5m forwards but RMT is suggesting that Burstow, and Bassette have the best points potential amongst them, so if it stays that way I will probably be doing a bit of research on them myself (online, and in members area stats) before the season starts.

It could just be coincidence, or me getting better at the game, but I doubt it as don't watch a huge amount of PL games (around 1 game a week on average, without any preference for a PL team (Plymouth Argyle fan)), so I class myself as little more than a casual, but three of my four best seasons have been achieved since I started using RTM more (4 seasons ago, 11k, 77k, 8k & 16k compared to an average of approaching 100k before that, with a worse finish of 184k), and last season would almost certainly have been my best if end of season rotation didn't make the RTM tool next to useless in GW38 (dropped from 11k to just over 6k, with just 6 players starting)

Gross to start, but Brighton has Europe this year and I just can't see him playing every game like he did toward the end of last season at age 35. So it's a short-term play imo.

Who is most likely to be the starting keeper at Spurs?

RMT is predicting a points potential of 19.67 for Vicario, and only 0.35 for Kinsky for the first 6GWs, but a huge proportion of teams on here include Kinsky, often with a 4.0 second keeper.

I haven't seen a single source projecting Vicario as a starter. As usual, watch the preseason friendlies with an eye out for usage. The last game before the season kicks off should give you the answer.

Lost quite a lot of interest in FPL in recent times, I think I might go with a largely set and forget team this season. But I will still monitor it and make changes where necessary and play chips. I was thinking something like the team below. I like the attack and Roefs, but not sure about the defence. Any thoughts?

Rice might not be fit at the start, so I might have to change that, but if I had to pick set and forget team, he would be in it for sure.

    Roefs
    Mitchell - Guehi - Hall
    Bruno - Rogers - Wilson - Ndiaye - Rice
    Haaland - Thiago

Anyone else not get the szobo hype? If Liverpool in the market for a new right winger, I can see him playing deep in a midfield 2 which Iraola likes to play.

With Kerkez and Frimpong overlapping as high wingbacks in the Iraola system, I don’t see Szobozlai getting many goal involvements

      • 13 Years

Szsoboszlai scored 6 goals and 7 assists last season and that was with time spent at RB. He plays pretty much every minute and is on set pieces and never afraid to shoot on sight.

He is not a natural CDM so Iraola won’t waste him sitting deep. He’s great value at 7.0 and in my Xl for sure.

Basically all of his scoring comes from free kicks, corners and long shots. Doesn't really matter where he lines up. If anything playing deeper should raise his DEFCON floor. I'd agree with you, he probably doesn't warrant being in half of all teams right now, but 7m is so affordable.

Going Mbeumo and Cunha seems to be the flavour of the day. Looks very good!

I don't love Slabby so much that I'd pass on saving the money by doing Luke Shaw instead.

Is Anderson not expected to start the first game for City?

Just curious as to why he's not in any drafts... perhaps i've missed something.

A lot of people are convinced his DEFCON numbers will tank being in a City side that'll dominate possession. I'm not sure I agree with that, but that seems to be the rationale.

Daizen Maeda in the game as a 5.5m MID for Ipswich now. Probably not a pick because it's Ipswich, but really fun player to watch, crazy high work rate and pressing monster. Could technically be OOP too.

Currently on KDH, he’s my lowest owned player right now, great PPM and value, MGW might be a bit steep now and Anderson has left

I just switched from Bruno + Cunha to Mbeumo + Cunha and I'm loving what you can do with the money. Solanke to Isak for instance and still have a million left.

    How does this look?

    Kinsky
    VVD | N. Williams | Shaw
Semenyo | Wirtz | Mbuemo | MGW | Le Fee
    Haaland | Isak
    -------------
    Dubravka | Kadioglu | 4.0 Def | 4.0 Fwd

Just looked at the ticker and believe that the Kinsky/Verbruggen double is worth the marginal 0.5 simply because (if you wanted them) you can get home fixtures for 17 of the first 19 weeks.,

    That's not a completely crazy idea . . . is it?

I'm going for it, Verbruggen always conceded a late goal last season when on for a cleanie, but am going there again
