The new Türkiye Fantasy season continues with Matchday 2, bringing another set of selection decisions after the opening round.
Ahead of the deadline, our expert @EnesGnerDoan23 reveals his latest squad and talks through the thinking behind his picks, captaincy and early strategy.

- We’re already into the second week of the season after a difficult opening round. Three of the four favourites dropped points, including Fenerbahçe, while there were some big individual performances. One of those came from Dia Saba, who I highlighted ahead of Matchday 1.
- I think Matchday 2 could be one of the toughest rounds of the season. Clean sheets look particularly difficult to predict. Galatasaray have the best chance in my opinion, while Amedspor and Fenerbahçe could also deliver. Fenerbahçe’s recent record against Konyaspor adds to their appeal.
- Deian Sorescu is another option to consider against Eyüpspor. His out-of-position role makes him particularly interesting from a Fantasy perspective.
- In attack, Göztepe, Fenerbahçe and Galatasaray are the teams I’m most interested in targeting this week. Victor Osimhen is the clear captaincy choice for me. There are alternatives, though. Marco Asensio only came on after 60 minutes in Europe, while Orkun Kökçü is a key player for Beşiktaş. Barış Alper Yılmaz also has the potential to outscore Osimhen through goals, assists and bonus points. Leroy Sané is another option, although I prefer the defensive picks from Galatasaray.
- For Göztepe, Amin Cherni and Arda Okan Kurtulan both appeal, with Cherni my preference. Sinclair Armstrong is another key option up front, but I’m not particularly interested in any of their midfielders. Midfield could be the main area for differentials this week. Some managers may opt for a 3-4-3, while others could move towards a 3-5-2. Either way, most teams will probably contain at least one or two differential selections.
- Finally, keep a close eye on expected minutes. Trabzonspor, Beşiktaş and Fenerbahçe all have European play-off return legs to consider, so rotation could play a part once again.
