NOTES
- Having taken punts on Roman Celentano and James Pantemis over the last couple of rounds, I’m keen to bring some stability to the goalkeeper position.
- Kristijan Kahlina therefore comes in for Pantemis, with Kahlina rotating well with Yohei Takaoka ahead of a favourable run of fixtures for Charlotte. Neil Pierre also joins the backline ahead of Philadelphia’s home meeting with Montréal.
- The Union’s immediate fixture run is mixed, but Pierre’s points floor and goal threat make him a no-brainer pick. Guilherme has arguably been one of the best Fantasy assets this season, but his time in my team will likely end after a couple of below-par performances.
- Milan Iloski returns in his place to attack the Philadelphia-Montréal fixture. Miguel Almirón also makes way, with Nico Fernández Mercau returning to my squad. Those moves leave me with one free transfer remaining, which I may use on Denis Bouanga, who has also underwhelmed of late.

- I had planned to Wildcard this week, but I’ve decided to leave it for one more round. There’s one change in goal, with Matt Turner making way for Yohei Takaoka. Brian Schwake retains his place ahead of Nashville’s meeting with New York City FC early on Saturday morning.
- In defence, Ryan Porteous has a nice away matchup against Real Salt Lake. Nico Cavello also comes in for a one-week punt, while Mathías Laborda, Maxwell Woledzi and Mamadou Fofana complete the backline.
- I’m doubling up on New York City FC in midfield with Nick Fernandez and Agustin Ojeda. Thomas Müller, Hany Mukhtar and Evander make up the rest of the midfield. My one-week punt on Prince Owusu failed spectacularly, so he makes way for new Seattle Sounders signing Dejan Jovelic.
- Peter Musa and Lionel Messi retain their places up front. Captaincy will be on Messi. His form in recent weeks has been off the scale, so it’s an easy decision.

- My goalkeepers remain unchanged this week, so there’s no need to use a transfer there.
- I’m very happy with my defence, but with a transfer to spare, I may bring in Osaze Urhoghide. That could still change, however, as Dallas’ defence has been poor.
- In midfield, Milan Iloski feels like a no-brainer. Thomas Müller also comes in, with several optimal fixtures ahead. He should tick along nicely and also provides a strong late fallback.
- Up front, Lionel Messi and Antoine Griezmann both feel like no-brainers.

- My plan this week is to target both Montréal and Sporting Kansas City, while also bringing in a longer-term goalkeeper who I can rotate.
- My transfers in will be Neil Pierre, Matt Turner, Milan Iloski, Joaquin Valiente and Petar Musa. Turner gives me the goalkeeper rotation I want alongside CJ dos Santos, while the other moves give me two players facing Montréal and two facing Sporting Kansas City.
- I’d like to bring in another Dallas player, but I can’t find a way to make it work. The goalkeeper rotation also becomes an issue if I go down that route.
