The Türkiye Fantasy season moves into Matchday 5, with the opening four rounds already giving managers plenty to think about.
Ahead of the deadline, our expert @EnesGnerDoan23 returns to reveal his latest team and highlight the players, fixtures and captaincy options on his radar.

MATCHDAY 4 REVIEW
Matchday 4 went well overall, although missing the Çorumspor hauls was frustrating. Kryzidis and Andrei Borza both produced double-digit returns, but I still finished on 99 points thanks largely to using the Quadruple Captain card on Mohamed Salah.
We also saw Galatasaray and Fenerbahçe in European action during the week. Galatasaray played well, particularly in the first half, before appearing to tire after the break. Fenerbahçe were generally the better side against Roma and eventually drew 1-1. Importantly for Fantasy managers, neither side appeared to pick up any major injury problems.
Dušan Vlahović would have been one of my leading Quadruple Captain options this week against a poor Erzurumspor defence. However, following his argument with Kerem Aktürkoğlu, Vlahović received a one-match suspension from the TFF and is unavailable.
MATCHDAY 5 TEAM REVEAL
MANAGER CARD
The fixtures look slightly easier to attack this week, with plenty of appealing forward options available. Because of that, I’ve activated the Attack Manager Card.
This card is unique to TFF Fantasy and allows formations such as 2-4-4, 2-3-5 and 1-4-5. There are some decent defensive options this week too, so the decision isn’t completely straightforward. Midfielders have also disappointed us regularly during the opening weeks.
I wouldn’t recommend using the Triplex or Quadruple Captain cards this week. Bench Boost is another possibility, particularly if you can use the additional 5m budget to assemble a strong 15-man squad. In reality, though, that strategy could work in plenty of other Matchdays too.
My squad this week generally targets players facing some of the weakest teams we’ve seen so far, particularly Erzurumspor and Eyüpspor.
BEŞİKTAŞ v ERZURUMSPOR
Beşiktaş beat Çorumspor 6-2 in their previous home match and I expect another convincing victory this week. A 3-0 or 4-0 scoreline wouldn’t surprise me, and a clean sheet also looks achievable.
With Rıdvan Yılmaz injured, Kassoum Ouattara should start. Beşiktaş face Marseille in Europe next, however, so Vincenzo Italiano could make changes elsewhere.
Leandro Trossard, Václav Černý, Ernest Poku and Murillo all carry some rotation risk. The players I expect to start include Alexander Nübel, Ouattara, Orkun Kökçü and Hyeong-gyu Oh. Semih Kılıçsoy could also get minutes, which means Oh isn’t completely risk-free either.
SAMSUNSPOR v ÇORUMSPOR
This is a difficult match to predict.
Çorumspor have a very good squad, while Samsunspor continue to deal with injuries. Saikuba Jarju is doing his best to make an impact despite those problems.
Kryzidis, Cengiz Ünder and Jarju are the players I’d consider from this fixture. After what we saw last week, another big Fantasy haul from this match isn’t impossible.
EYÜPSPOR v RİZESPOR
I’m backing Rizespor to respond after failing to beat Alanyaspor.
Eyüpspor have comfortably been one of the weakest teams so far, which makes the Rizespor attack particularly interesting. Ahmed Kutucu also faces his former club.
I’ve noticed Kutucu looking to shoot regularly whenever he receives the ball, making him a potentially excellent differential this week.
Qazim Laci and Ali Sowe remain options, too. Both have the potential to produce big returns at some stage. The difficult part is predicting exactly when those hauls will arrive.
KONYASPOR v TRABZONSPOR
This is another difficult fixture.
Konyaspor are the only team yet to pick up a point, although their performances probably deserve more than that. The arrival of Mostafa Mohamed should also give them additional motivation and attacking quality.
I could see this finishing 1-1 or 1-2.
Trabzonspor have a Conference League match coming up, so Paul Onuachu may not start. Franculino Dju performed well last week despite missing chances, while Ernest Muçi continues to take plenty of shots from midfield.
Mohamed Salah has been creating more than shooting recently, but his penalty duties and consistency continue to make him the safest Trabzonspor option.
ALANYASPOR v GÖZTEPE
This has the potential to be another tight game, with 0-0, 1-0 or 1-1 all realistic outcomes.
After going without him for a long time, I’m ready for another Florent Hadergjonaj return this week! Whenever I don’t own him, he seems to produce either a clean sheet or an assist.
His set-piece threat makes him particularly dangerous.
Göztepe haven’t started the season particularly well and conceded four first-half goals against Gaziantep FK. They also changed goalkeeper afterwards, while Gugeshashvili is unlikely to start this week following his social-media comments concerning Göztepe supporters.
GENÇLERBİRLİĞİ v KASIMPAŞA
This could produce plenty of goals.
Franco Tongya has had some issues with the team, which could affect his concentration. Instead, I’d focus on Cláudio Winck and Adrian Benedyczak from Kasımpaşa, alongside Sékou Koïta from Gençlerbirliği.
Winck is particularly interesting as a differential because he has been one of the league’s more attacking full-backs so far.
GALATASARAY v KOCAELİSPOR
I’m expecting something around a 2-0 or 2-1 Galatasaray victory.
Victor Osimhen won’t play, which is significant because Galatasaray have often found things more difficult without him.
Kocaelispor aren’t a particularly attacking side. They scored just 26 goals in 34 matches last season, although they did beat Galatasaray 1-0 and draw the other meeting 1-1. I therefore don’t expect an especially high-scoring game.
Roland Sallai continues to play in a very advanced role, while Uğurcan Çakır is an option in goal.
Further forward, Barış Alper Yılmaz should start as the forward. Yunus Akgün and Gabriel Sara are the other standout options.
I wouldn’t select more than two Galatasaray players this week.
AMEDSPOR v BAŞAKŞEHİR
This should be an entertaining match.
Amedspor have several dangerous attacking options but continue to struggle defensively. Much the same can be said for Başakşehir.
The in-form Eldor Shomurodov stands out, while Gift Orban has been scoring from the bench and I think he could finally start this week. Dia Saba is the other player I’d consider.
I’d probably limit myself to one player from each team and treat them as differentials.
GAZİANTEP FK v FENERBAHÇE
Gaziantep FK have played well so far, but I don’t expect them to have enough to take a point from Fenerbahçe.
Fenerbahçe responded to their heavy derby defeat by earning a point against Roma. They remain four points behind the league leaders and need to start scoring more regularly to satisfy their supporters, although Gaziantep are generally much stronger at home.
Vedat Muriqi and Mason Greenwood are my standout attacking options.
Milan Škriniar, Nathan Aké and Oğuz Aydın provide differential alternatives.
CAPTAINCY
There are plenty of attacking options this week alongside some obvious clean-sheet opportunities for the bigger teams, which makes captaincy difficult.
Mason Greenwood, Mohamed Salah, Hyeong-gyu Oh and Orkun Kökçü are all options.
Managers owning Barış Alper Yılmaz or Eldor Shomurodov could also consider them.
Almost any of those players could haul or blank this week, which is another reason I wouldn’t use the Triplex or Quadruple Captain cards.
The current mini-league is still running, but managers can also start preparing for the next one and potentially save their Manager Cards for that.
