Instead of using Gameweek 4 transfers on whoever has just hauled, try buying the next trend. In ‘Goals Imminent’, we look at the underlying statistics to predict which players are about to score.

That way, Fantasy Premier League (FPL) managers can be proactive rather than reactive.

Marc and Joe have a regular Fantasy Football Scout podcast that discusses these underachievers, using the latter’s popular data table.

Think I'm settled and locked on this wildcard now, I'm not overly happy with the de cuyper pick, bar the attacking returns he could get this weekend after that I don't trust Brighton defensively, I have two free transfers saved so hoping to move him on shortly,

    Kinksy
    Calafiori, konsa, de cuyper
    Palmer, saka, gross, szoboszlai
    Wissa, haaland, Pedro

    Bench, Forster, kdh, hall, ewijk

    1. Warby84

      Wissa to 4.5 and Gros to Gomez could upgrade another position;

KDH to Odegaard or even Gakpo (dbl up)

Really torn between Alex Scott, Marcus Tavernier, and Harvey Barnes just for this GW only. Who's the better option here?!

I was on a similar decision but decided with Gomez @ 5m, out of those I’d go Tavernier

Think I'll hold off investing in Newcastle assets despite their favourable fixtures. They were far from convincing last night.

Probably make Shaw>Konsa my first transfer of the season, unless anything else crops up.

The only asset to keep an eye on is Lewis Hall but not really interested in any attack

      1. I second this. Keep an eye on Dedic news. He may have picked up an injury plus Livramento is back.

Havertz to Isak? Would be a short term move, or target a Liverpool mid?

How’s the WC looking? Pretty set on this.. 0.4m in the bank.

    Raya
    Gvardiol - Calafiori - Hall
    Gakpo - Rogers - Palmer - Odegaard - Barnes
    Haaland - Pedro

    Verbruggen - Barry - Thomas - Egan

I mean, it could be Verbruggen > Dubravka and then upgrade one of the 4.0 defenders to a 4.5 such a Mitchell?

        1. JT11fc
          • 7 Years

Id probably just leave the cash in the bank incase Id want to upgrade Barry or Odegaard, as you have bb left its not a biggie picking a 4.5 gk tho, 1 less transfer later

Are there any Coventry assets that were sleeping on? That was an impressive performance away to City at the weekend and their fixtures are taking a turn for the better.

On wild card. Looking at the Chelsea team and their good fixtures. I do not like more than one attacker from team thats not tittle contender, so have to look at their deffense. Martinez is obvious choice, but I like to talk about their defenders.
Some thoughts about Hato? Does he nailed enough for WC team and every week starter? What about him as Fantasy asset? Eye test is passed, I think.

Wissa has seen a lot of transfers into squads but are we overlooking Elanga and Barnes?

    1. Big Mike

      Elanga
Pardo (when he gets regular starts).

I've got Barnes at my 6m spot on my WC, think he's a great differential and looks central to their attack.

  19. Preferred option here folks moving forward??

    A- MGW
    Or
    B- Rogers

    Cheers everyone!!

Haaland versus no Haaland is really confusing me, Ive done fine without so far (besides my fh) but I habe to remember that Im nlt just looking at his score versus any other player but versus multiple upgrades in the team.
In short I have to pick really good mid priced assets and nail captain each week...

Which option for free? I currently have no CHE.

A Bruno, Maguire, DCL => Palmer, Konsa, Isak

B Anderson, Maguire, Gab => Palmer, Konsa, Cala

C Maguire => Konsa and go with no Chelsea
