Five-time top 1k finisher Tom Freeman is here to help with your pre-deadline dilemmas for the next hour.

Whether it’s questions on specific players, captaincy, chip strategy or anything in between, Scout’s Deputy Editor will tackle whatever’s thrown at him.

He’ll be on hand to first reply to requests from Chief Scout Members in the Hot Topic below the line of this piece.

If there’s time, Tom will also turn his attention to other requests in the comments section.

    On FH, would you still bring in Haaland if you're not going to C him?

      Would be a funding question really. I am a United fan and could see this match being something daft like 3-3. I can’t see him not getting a goal or an assist. Could be a shame if your team does really well but you lose rank because people have done a GW1 set and forget with Haaland as captain.

        Yeah that last part is the boring part.... such a shame *shrug*.

        Don't really need the extra money either, just considering it to maximise the FH.

        MU fan myself, wonder if this will end 2-1 to MU. Been "game raising cnts" these past seasons, specially against City. But still won't bet against Haaland, specially with how bad MU defence have been.

      I would roll the dice and go without if, as you said, he isn’t your captain.

    Hi Tom,

    I had 3 FTs heading into this week and have already used two of them.

    O'Reilly -> Konsa
    Bruno -> Palmer

    I'm lined up with the following team this week:
    Kinsky ; Calafiori, Konsa, Vuskovic ; Palmer, Mbuemo, Gross, Janelt ; Haaland, JP, DCL

    Bench: Verbruggen, Maguire, Bijol, 4.5M deadspot MID

    I have 4.5M now in the bank and 1 FT remaining. I'm considering two options:
    a) Janelt -> Saka (this week) ; Roll or Bijol -> Thomas/VDV next week
    b) roll (this week) ; 4.5M deadspot -> Saka + Bijol -> Thomas

    What are your thoughts on Thomas? Coventry sit joint third for big chances conceded, having played away to both Arsenal and City. Their upcoming fixtures look alright.

    Which option would you prefer? I like improving the deadspot but it means I head into the IB with only one FT (albeit with my WC still in my back pocket). However, leaving 4.5M ITB this week seems wasteful.

    Cheers

    Help please.

    I brought Mendy in on a WC this week ahead of the price rise but have noticed he has been subbed off in all three games. I don’t suppose anyone has any absolutely solid weapons grade intel on the reasoning behind us do you?

    Thanks in advance.

    A) Mbeumo to Rogers
    B) Bruno to Palmer
    C) Roll

    Cheers
