At the moment Palmer seems very poor value for money. Would actually rather Bruno at the moment even though very expensive. Roger’s probs covers Palmer for 2 mill cheaper. Villa MF seems decent. Manzibi. Gakpo possible good shout too.

Just really frustrated with my team and don’t have Schade and Gross who seem such great value.
As do most of us. Unfortunately half the game will buy at least Gross this week, so whether he does well from here on in is not as good (still enables you to buy more expensive guys elsewhere though so I'm getting him now).
Saka Bruno/Mbeumo Rogers Gross Tavernier ... will be a long weeks of thinkering with Schade may get a spot
I don't see the value in Szlob, Bruno or Palmer, personally. Last 2 are v expensive and misfiring (and Palmer hasn't been trustworthy for 2-3 seasons, for various reasons). Szlob also doing nothing, in a dodgy LIV team (and I'm a LIV fan). I have him and Bruno but getting rid on WC.
Best options IMHO are: Rogers, Gross, Saka, Tav, Schade, King
Maybe's are: Barnes, KDH, MGW, Semenyo, Mbuemo, Ode

Eh, it's almost template if you did 1-2 transfers, so I personally wouldn't wildcard.
I am in a similar boat to you but I'm going to wait until there's injuries or some problems that 1-2 transfers can't fix. Every team is all over the place right now. People buy chelsea and arsenal and they all blanked.

These IB always upset the rhythm of the PL. Such a long one too. I don't think you can confidently say that the in form teams will remain in form when the PL restarts. Its almost like starting the season a fresh. I get why people would play the WC over this break, but honestly, feels like stabbing in the dark IMO.
Not sure IB is the best time to WC either. Used to be 10 years ago but no material prices rises to chase. I will FH in GW9 and then WC in GW10 when we settle into a better understanding of teams/players. Everyone is knee jerking all over the place right now.
Fair point. The week after the international break is generally a low scoring week, with most players looking very tired.
Many GW 3 wild carders have been stumbling. GW 4 WC wasn't easy. GW 5 has no rhythm, so far. Post-IB, will it be better/easier? Maybe not. "Plan for the best, prepare for the worst"
gross would need just 4 ppg for the rest of the season to get 180, crazy. just hope from here on out he can manage 4.5, would take him to basically 200, blimey
