Ahead of the Double Gameweek for League One and League Two sides, our Fantasy EFL contributors are back to reveal their teams and plans for the upcoming round.

Here, they talk through their key picks, transfers, captaincy decisions and club selections for Gameweek 11.

@FPLAguero_

  • The fixtures make Will Dennis my preferred goalkeeper this week, rather than his recent form. MK Dons face Stevenage away and Bromley at home, with the latter offering the better clean-sheet opportunity. Bromley have scored just eight goals in 10 matches from 7.3 xG, the lowest attacking output of any side in this Double Gameweek. They’ve also managed only one win in their last five. Stevenage will provide a tougher test, having conceded just eight goals all season. However, I give MK Dons a 47% chance of keeping at least one clean sheet across the two fixtures, making Dennis my preferred route into their defence.
  • Despite Stockport facing two away matches against Notts County and Oxford United, I’m comfortable backing defender Eoghan O’Connell. Notts County have lost four of their last five matches and scored just eight goals all season from 10.2 xG, making them one of the weakest attacking sides in this Double Gameweek. O’Connell has started all 11 league matches, playing 979 minutes, which gives me plenty of confidence in his minutes. His defensive contributions provide a strong route to points, while ownership of just 0.2% makes him an excellent differential. Most managers will look to Stockport’s midfield, but I like the potential here.
  • I’m doubling up on MK Dons’ defence with Charlie Goode, who offers even greater points potential than Dennis. The fixtures against Stevenage and Bromley appeal, particularly with Bromley having conceded 12 goals in 10 away matches. Goode has started nine of his last 10 matches, while his defensive contributions give him a solid points floor. At just 0.1% ownership, he offers enormous differential potential. If MK Dons manage a clean sheet across either fixture, this could become a very rewarding selection.
  • My standout midfield pick this week is Charlie Lakin, and the captaincy decision feels straightforward. Barnet have two home fixtures against Oldham Athletic and York City, giving them an excellent opportunity to produce attacking returns. Oldham have scored just twice and conceded 10 goals in 11 away matches. Meanwhile, Barnet have already scored 20 goals from 18.8 xG this season, with Lakin contributing six from midfield. His shot volume and creativity make him particularly appealing, and I expect Barnet to be among the highest-scoring sides this week. Ownership of 29.5% means he isn’t exactly a differential, but I’m not overthinking the captaincy when the fixtures and underlying numbers look this good.
  • Alongside Lakin, I’m backing Oliver Norwood for his reliable routes to points. He takes penalties and set pieces, while his 32 chances created and 0.31 expected assists per 90 minutes highlight his creativity. Stockport average 61% possession and face Notts County and Oxford United away. The latter have conceded 14.5 xG in nine matches, offering another encouraging opportunity for attacking returns. Norwood doesn’t need an open-play goal to deliver. His set-piece involvement, creativity and defensive contributions give him the consistent points potential I want from my second midfielder.
  • Leicester face Luton Town away before hosting Wigan Athletic, and I like forward Emil Riis across both fixtures. Interestingly, Leicester have scored 10 away goals compared to just six at home, making the opening trip to Luton particularly appealing. Wigan have struggled in attack, scoring seven goals from 14 xG in 10 matches and converting just 5.6% of their shots. Riis offers a strong attacking threat through his shot volume, and ownership of just 0.3% makes him an excellent differential. His regular starting role also gives me confidence in his minutes.
  • I’m doubling up on Barnet’s attack with Kabongo Tshimanga, who also takes the vice-captaincy. If Barnet produce the attacking returns I’m expecting, having both Tshimanga and Lakin could prove extremely rewarding. The forward has started 10 matches and played 895 minutes, while his penalty-taking duties add another route to points. Oldham have conceded 10 goals away from home, with York allowing eight, so both fixtures look promising. At 9% ownership, Tshimanga offers a more differential route into Barnet’s attack than Lakin. I’d rather double up on the team I consider the strongest attacking option this week than spread my selections too thinly.
  • For my first club pick, I’m backing Stockport County. Their away fixtures against Notts County and Oxford United offer an excellent combination of attacking potential and defensive security. Notts County have lost four of their last five matches and continue to struggle in front of goal. Oxford carry more attacking threat, but their defensive numbers leave plenty of room for Stockport to exploit. Stockport have scored 23 goals from 21.6 xG this season, while conceding just three away goals, the best defensive away record in the division. That combination makes them my strongest club selection, and I still have four picks available for them.
  • Luton Town provide my second club pick, with two home matches against Leicester City and Doncaster Rovers. Leicester pose the greater threat after scoring 10 away goals, but Doncaster have managed just six goals and conceded seven on their travels. Luton average 1.52 xG per match and enjoy 55% possession, giving them a solid foundation across both fixtures. I’m backing Stockport for their higher ceiling and Luton for their consistency.
  • As always, my team remains subject to change once we see the starting line-ups.

  • In defence, I’m backing the MK Dons double-up of Charlie Goode and Marvin Ekpiteta, as I particularly like their second fixture against Bromley. Both offer plenty of potential for bonus points and carry a decent goal threat. I’ve paired them with Ollie Whatmuff in goal, as I fancy Stockport to perform well defensively, especially against a poor Notts County side.
  • Moving into midfield, I’ve gone with Jordan Clark, Davis Keillor-Dunn and Jamie Donley, who all impressed last Gameweek. Keillor-Dunn broke my heart at Hillsborough during that 5-0 demolition, but he consistently found himself in dangerous positions, so I couldn’t leave him out this week. Donley and Clark also have favourable fixtures from both an attacking and interception perspective, making the Luton midfield double-up particularly appealing.
  • Up front, Kabongo Tshimanga currently has the captain’s armband. I watched Barnet earlier this season and was surprised by how direct they played, with almost everything going through their striker. With two home fixtures this week, I can see Tshimanga scoring a few goals, so I’m happy to put my faith in him.
  • For my club picks, I’ve gone with Sheffield Wednesday and Barnet. I haven’t used either side this season, which might explain my poor start! However, their quality and fixtures make them appealing options this week, especially with few alternatives standing out. I wouldn’t be surprised if Wednesday slipped up in one of their matches, but nothing else particularly excites me. I’ll back the Owls alongside Barnet and hope they deliver!

  • In goal, I’m backing Ashley Maynard-Brewer to deliver across two decent fixtures. Doncaster away could prove tricky, but Cambridge at home looks like a good opportunity for points. Hopefully, he can make the most of that second fixture and produce a strong return.
  • Despite two away fixtures against Notts County and Oxford United, Eoghan O’Connell still appeals in defence. Neither match looks particularly straightforward, but he has opportunities to collect defensive contribution points. If Stockport can stay organised at the back, a clean sheet or two would make him an even better pick.
  • The two home fixtures make Mads Andersen one of my favourite defensive options this week. Leicester and Doncaster both visit Kenilworth Road, giving him two opportunities to deliver. I’m hoping Luton can take advantage of playing at home twice and reward my faith in their defence.
  • In midfield, Oliver Norwood faces a couple of challenging away fixtures against Notts County and Oxford United. However, his involvement in midfield gives him opportunities to collect points even without attacking returns. Hopefully, he can contribute through his defensive work and pick up some useful bonus points along the way.
  • Barnet’s double home fixtures against Oldham Athletic and York City make Charlie Lakin one of my standout midfield selections. I’ve given him the vice-captaincy, as I expect him to play an important role in both matches. If he can continue getting into dangerous attacking positions, there’s every chance he could produce a big points haul.
  • Another midfielder I’m happy to back is Davis Keillor-Dunn. The trip to Doncaster presents a difficult challenge, but Cambridge at home offers a much better opportunity for attacking returns. He has the quality to make an impact in both fixtures, so I’m hoping he can deliver at least one return across the Double Gameweek.
  • Up front, Kabongo Tshimanga gets the captain’s armband. With Oldham and York both visiting Barnet, these are exactly the sort of fixtures I want for my main striker. I’m backing him to find the net and hopefully produce one of the biggest scores of the Gameweek.
  • For my first club pick, I’ve gone with Sheffield Wednesday, who travel to Doncaster before hosting Cambridge. The away fixture could prove difficult, but I particularly like their chances in the second match. Hopefully, they can take advantage of that home fixture and pick up a strong points return across the two games.
  • My second club selection is Luton Town, who have two home matches against Leicester and Doncaster. Playing at Kenilworth Road twice gives them a good opportunity to collect points, and I’m backing them to make the most of that home advantage.
  • Overall, I’m really happy with how the team looks this week. Tshimanga has two appealing home fixtures, Lakin offers plenty of midfield potential, and several players have opportunities to deliver across the Double Gameweek. Hopefully, the captaincy pays off and we can enjoy a big score!

  • Defence looks like the trickiest area to navigate this week, so I’m focusing on the three players I trust most for clean sheets and bonus potential. That leaves me with Ollie Whatmuff, Charlie Goode and Mads Andersen, who all have opportunities to deliver across their two fixtures.
  • I’m not overthinking my midfield selections this week, with Charlie Lakin, Davis Keillor-Dunn and Jordan Clark all making the cut. Oliver Norwood is certainly worth considering, but Keillor-Dunn offers too much attacking upside for me to leave him out.
  • Up front, I’m happy to go against the popular Kabongo Tshimanga pick and take a punt on Kyle Wootton instead. His attacking involvement and shot volume give him plenty of potential for a big haul, making him an exciting differential this week.
  • For my club picks, I’m currently backing Stockport County and Sheffield Wednesday. Stockport’s away bonus makes them particularly appealing, although I’m less convinced by Wednesday. I could easily switch to Luton Town or Barnet once we see the starting line-ups.
