Gameweek 8 of Fantasy Premier League (FPL) gets underway at Portman Road this evening.

Ipswich Town v Nottingham Forest kicks off at 8pm BST.

TEAM NEWS

Ipswich make two changes from their 3-2 defeat at Manchester City last Saturday.

Abdul Fatawu and Jaden Philogene come in for Jacob Greaves and Daizen Maeda.

That’ll almost certainly prompt a change to a back four.

Oliver Glasner has also made two alterations from last weekend.

Morgan Gibbs-White returns from injury, while Nikola Milenkovic – a substitute last weekend – is back in the XI.

Ousmane Diomande drops to the bench, but Nicolas Dominguez isn’t in the squad at all.

LINE-UPS

Ipswich Town XI: Walton, Ouattara, O’Shea, Diop, Davis, Florentino, Palacios, Fatawu, Enciso, Philogene, Emmerson.

Subs: Scherpen, Furlong, Greaves, Matusiwa, Nunez, Clarke, Maeda, Akpom, Flemming.

Nottingham Forest XI: Sels, Munoz, Jair Cunha, Milenkovic, Murillo, Williams, McAtee, Schlager, Ndoye, Gibbs-White, Delap.

Subs: John Victor, Diomande, Sangare, Hudson-Odoi, Wood, Kalimuendo, Yates, Netz, Aina.

It looks to have taken off the substitute points from last gameweek, weirdly. Sure their tecchies will sort them back out.

I've somehow got 9 less points than I had yesterday! Made no transfers.
Have you mysteriously lost points? may explain your drop?

Yes, this looks to have happened across the board.

Was nine points the amount you had in autosubs, eg you had DCL sub on?

          3 hours, 54 mins ago

Auto sub was Konsa, so yeah, 9pts
is it an error? will it be reversed? whats the story?

Looks to confirm what I had deduced – autosub points from last gameweek have for some reason been lost.

Sure it will be fixed, probably in next update.

Jackson fixtures look excellent, DCL fixtures don’t look bad. If you don’t have anything else on the radar I do prefer Jackson but not against holding DCL.

So with all the premium midfield injuries and Bruno a long way from essential - does everyone have pretty much the same team now with robot captain every week?!!

With Brighton v City, plus Arsenal v Liverpool, its not the ideal week for a WC. But, I need to WC this week to sell Saka, Shaw, Delap, King, Hume. What do you think of the following team / structure?

    Raya, 4.0m
Calafiori, De Cuyper, Muharemović, Silva, Thomas
    Palmer, Groß, (Cherki/Mbeumo/Rogers), (Tavernier/Manzambi), Slater
    Haaland, João Pedro, (Evanilson/Jackson)

Currently on Cherki, Manzambi and Evanilson.
