With the last international break of the season now behind us, our Friday lunchtime analysis of the PlayON Player Price List arrives once again. As always, we offer a couple of picks per position: one essential weekend target and a left-field alternative for your consideration.

PlayON are now running a number of different deadlines so Fantasy managers can have as much benefit of seeing teamsheets as possible. Tomorrow, for example, managers can pick teams for the weekly game (which includes all ten matches on Saturday, Sunday and Monday) and the single match game (for the Arsenal versus Liverpool match) up to 12.45.

Managers can pick teams for all the 15.00 & 17.30 kick-offs up to 15.00 tomorrow. Their Daily game on Sunday, which includes two matches, has a deadline of 13.30. There’s free entry tournaments and guaranteed pots in all games so plenty for Fantasy managers to take advantage of – you can pick up to three different teams for each game now at www.PlayON.co

Goalkeepers – Boaz Myhill
A season-ending injury to Ben Foster brings the Welshman onto the radar as a bargain route into West Brom’s defence. Priced at just 5.5m, Myhill ended the previous Gameweek as the top scoring goalkeeper in PlayON by almost 1000 points due to a 2600 point haul away to City – despite conceding three times, he registered 13 saves at the Etihad. The Baggies have four clean sheets in five matches at the Hawthorns under Tony Pulis and welcome a QPR side that have struggled for results away from Loftus Road, suggesting Myhill –who is owned by 23% of PlayON managers – could bring home the points again. For those willing to spend a bit more between the posts, we’ve gone for David De Gea (8.0m). The 12%-owned Spaniard has conceded just once in four matches, with three consecutive shut-outs before Daniel Sturridge’s strike at Anfield, and Man United host an Aston Villa side that have scored a single goal in their last three visits to Old Trafford.

Defenders – Kyle Naughton
Swansea will fancy their chances of a clean sheet this weekend, bearing in mind that visitors Hull side have only found the net once in five away matches. Available for 6.2m in PlayON this week, Naughton (26% ownership) is the cheapest route into a backline that have already registered 11 shut-outs this term. Jose Mourinho’s Chelsea have also been less resilient than usual at home, conceding in three of their last four. Branislav Ivanovic (21% owned) requires a considerable outlay of 9.5m but the right-back does offer potential at both ends of the pitch and has served up a goal and an assist over the last two in front of his own fans. The Blues welcome a Stoke side that has failed to score in each of their last seven visits to the Bridge and arrive on the back of successive losses to West Brom and Palace.

Midfielders – Marouane Fellaini
Juan Mata’s man of the match performance at Anfield has brought the Spaniard onto our radars but at 11.6m, he’s a little too pricey for our liking. Coming in at just 8.4m for the visit of Villa, Fellaini appears to be a safer option. Serving up a goal and an assist in his last home appearance, the Belgian continued his form with three strikes over the international break and his role in the central midfield three should also see the 28%-owned benefit from the PlayON scoring matrix, which favours defensive contributions. With Sergio Aguero still struggling for form, we’ve turned to David Silva (13.2m, 31% owned) for Man City’s trip to Crystal Palace. The Spaniard scored against West Brom in the previous Gameweek and his tally of seven shots on target (worth 200 points in PlayON) in three matches is indicative of his flourishing displays for the champions.

Forwards –Saido Berahino
Passed fit by Tony Pulis earlier today, the Baggies striker has three goals in six for the Baggies and clearly favours home comforts, with 15 of his 18 goals in the league and cup arriving at the Hawthorns. West Brom host a QPR side that have conceded at least twice in all but two of their 14 away trips, suggesting that Berahino (8.8m, 2% ownership) could be set to extend his impressive home record. Harry Kane (8.6m) is unsurprisingly the most popular player in PlayON with over 52% of teams so far including the Englishman after he took his tally to 14 goals in 11 matches with a hat-trick against Leicester. Kane pays visit to a Burnley side with a single shut-out in the last 14 Gameweeks and looks poised to continue his remarkable breakthrough season.
