Myself, Granville and Jonty welcomed Fantasy Premier League royalty for this week’s episode, as reigning champion, Tom Fenley, made his belated ScoutCast debut.

Tom joined us to talk us through his difficult post-championship season, whilst lending his informed view the situation facing the current Fantasy Football Scout league leader, and FPL number one, Simon March, aka “Dufflinks”.

Of course, we were also glad to have Tom’s expertise on board to help us grapple with the latest round of topics fed to us by the community. Amongst the many issues tackled, we attempt to explain the withering form of Sergio Aguero, discussing the merits or otherwise of an Argentine exit strategy.

This episode was recorded on Tuesday evening with a live Hangout broadcast. If you missed that and you really want to catch up on the latest beard developments (Tom abstains from this), you can view the Hangout in full via the movie below.

If you prefer to have your ScoutCast slip down that little bit easier, you’ll be wanting the rather more slick and refined audio version via this link or the first player below.

Be sure to subscribe to our Youtube channel if you want to be kept informed of future live ScoutCasts.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

I'm joking anyway. I've got no WC so won't be going all in like this, but I wonder if those with their WC will opt for the full DGW 11.

My ideal transfer for the next 2 GWs would be a Southampton mid or forward but it's such a minefield with Koeman now.
May be his failing in the long term.

Hard to call, Che & Liv are the obvious ones which you can cover but as a WC owner I'm looking at maximising.
You should always give the DGW a calculated gamble but they don't always pay off, a couple of hits over the next 3 GW's should cover you.
As i replied above I misunderstood original question (vino!!)

            Thats ok 🙂
I'll go for some hits as you suggest. Essentially buying a wildcard for 12 points or so.

8 points over the next should cover you & don't lose Giroud.
If we were still to play you in CWC I'd advise many more hits. 🙂

I expect the following, but have zero data to go on (other than what I saw when Costa got hurt last week and what has been his hamstrung experiences thus far):

Remy plays most of the next two matches. Costa does not come back for at least 3 weeks, and if he does come back sooner, he injures himself again. Drogba cannot play for 90 minutes; he is more the late match savior or fresh legs guy at this point.

Fab is the obvious 3rd Chelsea player to have if you are avoiding Remy/Costa I reckon.
Worried Chelsea wont get many clean sheets.

If Jose rules out Costa for a while then Remy is pretty nailed in my team. If not then it'll be a really hard decision. I might not even go with 3 chelsea.

I'd assume that everyone will get Remy if Jose rules out Costa. But Jose being Jose, he'll reveal absolute nada 🙁
Although I did see a post on this website earlier which claimed Costa had a 'Grade 2 Strain' which means he will be out for 4-8 weeks. i.e. beyond the DGW. No source to that though.

    Well my plan of doing:

Austin>Costa and Sanchez>Henderson is messed up a bit with Costa being doubtful.

If you have your WC then punt on Remy imo

I am likely going to Remy, but I have my WC. If you do not have your WC, then the decision may be more longer term. If you do have your WC, then I think Remy is the best short term move, but it's a close call against Murray and Gomis.

Would you double up with Terry and Ivan?

    Or double up on Soton?

      I have triple Southampton 😎

      Chelsea's defensive record concerns me.
      Ivanovic for 7.6M is crazy.

Lost my 1st place in my league in GW22 still chasing a 63 point gap. It would have been been 30 if I would have woken up in time changed Hazard to Austin Cap and had the guts to do the Kane >Tekkers move.

Need some advice GW running out fast!

    Azi> Moreno
    Austin>Giroud

    Current time for this GW

    Krul
    Ivan Azi Clyne
    Mane Hazard Silva Ozil
    Austin Augero(c) Kane

Bank 3.8M only 1 free transfer.

A: Austin ---> Rooney (potential for (C) this weekend, will keep for atleast 2 GWKs)
B: Austin ---> Murray (not much Captain potential, would keep max 2 weeks, been fairly fortunate recently)
C: Austin ---> Remy (not guaranteed starter, costa could be back soon, has DGW)

D: Keep Austin, Mane ---> LIV player

        This ^.

Although, I had the easy funds, I might get Rooney. I think he will do well this week, but not so sure at Chelsea the following week.

Might sell Hazard and Ivanovic and skip the double completely.

    Thoughts?

The last time I skipped a double, points skipped my team completely.

But yes good decision to sell Hazard and Ivan, would be easier for us to beat you in a fortnight 😉
