Myself, Granville and Jonty welcomed Fantasy Premier League royalty for this week’s episode, as reigning champion, Tom Fenley, made his belated ScoutCast debut.

Tom joined us to talk us through his difficult post-championship season, whilst lending his informed view the situation facing the current Fantasy Football Scout league leader, and FPL number one, Simon March, aka “Dufflinks”.

Of course, we were also glad to have Tom’s expertise on board to help us grapple with the latest round of topics fed to us by the community. Amongst the many issues tackled, we attempt to explain the withering form of Sergio Aguero, discussing the merits or otherwise of an Argentine exit strategy.

This episode was recorded on Tuesday evening with a live Hangout broadcast. If you missed that and you really want to catch up on the latest beard developments (Tom abstains from this), you can view the Hangout in full via the movie below.

If you prefer to have your ScoutCast slip down that little bit easier, you’ll be wanting the rather more slick and refined audio version via this link or the first player below.

Be sure to subscribe to our Youtube channel if you want to be kept informed of future live ScoutCasts.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

I recall a season or two ago some of us temporarily gained access to Stoke's FPL league until Begovic kicked us out. Probably Charlie Adam.

(I hope that Stoke league wasn't fake... *Awaits response*)

Doubt he'll start this weekend but Bellerin's time will be limited after this GW - Chambers is also in the mix

I reckon if they thought Debuchy needed game time he'd have played for the reserves, he's clearly ready. He won't last 90 though so Bellerin 1 pointer looks likely

Planning to WC in gw34 so need to make transfers for next two gws..have 2fts and 4m itb

    Panti
ivan dawson toby --- caulker naughton
ozil siggy silva hazard -- boyd
    kane kun austin

    A: austin + caulker/naughton >> rooney + xxx
    B: siggy + caulker/naughton >> eriksen + xxx..then take out austin next gw
    C: austin + siggy >> murray + mata/eriksen

Don't sell Siggy you mad man! I'd just use 1 transfer this week and 2 next week so you can get 11 players out. Naughton out, Baines or Coleman in before you WC? 2 decent fixtures and big differentials

      Rule 378.752 sub clause B/Alpha 62

Play your home player when all else seems equal.

Austin has a home before and after the blank, with arguably an easier second game.

    1st - IanP1970 (94pts)
    2nd - Pundit of Punts (89pts)
    3rd - Wiz (87pts)

with FFS Scout and Krzys scoring closely on 85pts! Second week running in the top 3 for Wiz as well, so a massive well done - making some major movements on the table!

No bonus this week as the FFS Scout Picks + Differentials scored well over 100+ points combined!

    With all that, still no movement at the top but Wiz is very quickly threatening to upset the hierarchy moving to himself to a clear 4th. Here's the top again;

    1st - FFS Scout (19pts)
    2nd - Mookie (16pts)
    3rd - Sticky Mockwell (12pts)

    Onto the next gameweek!

      Kane here.

Home game against a side that has conceded 6 goals in their last two games

Whereas Chelsea are away in a derby match (could be goalless or goalfest, hard to say)

Any Leicester fans about? Is Upson a likely starter now that he's back? 3.9m defender who has a DGW and plays in GW33. Could be handy bench fodder for the season after the DGW. Handy Naughton replacement. Thoughts?

😯 Would just get Morgan, Ryan IMO. Captain, guaranteed minutes, and goal threat,
Or Huth if you can splurge, little expensive though for a warmer - http://members.fantasyfootballscout.co.uk/public-stats-tables/view/1026/

Been doing some calculations and I need the cheapest possible. 4.3 or below (I think). Been trying to come up with a solid DGW plan but there are a lot of moving parts (probably a bad thing)

I see, that's tough, not sure Upson is a starter last time checked. Foxes have rolled up with a 4 at the back as of late...

DeLaet- Huth - Morgan - Schlupp

no way you can knock out the extra .1m for Morgan?

I'd love it if Mourinho brings some solid info to the table regarding Costa. Wouldn't mind Remy being a solid option if I knew for sure Costa was out for a while. Conversely, if Costa was in line to start against Arsenal he'd be right back on the radar for the DGW.

I'm just waiting for the moment Ivanovic starts up top, Mourinho loves him so much it seems inevitable.

Yeah this is unfortunately the likely scenario. Can't really sell one of Aguero, Kane and Giroud based on that.

I agree with that although I am more confident than you about Remy and much more pessimistic (realistic?) about Costa.

Remy is a very easy (and sensible) pick for those with Austin or Benteke. Not so easy for those with the three you mention. You have an awkward combination to handle at the moment without a wildcard.

I guess the best you can do is to nudge your team towards GW34 with something like Naughton to Schlupp or Morgan now, Bellerin to Moreno next week and then arrive after GW33 with 2 FTs.

Maybe something like Aguero to Sturridge and Eriksen to Fabregas would then work. And you'd be clearer by then about the Costa/Remy situation and would have the alternative of Costa/Remy and a Liverpool midfielder.

It's perhaps not ideal but would give you 7 DGW players which is the most you can get without a hit.

Yeah I've looked at such possibilities with even an idea of getting Terry. I agree that a save Naughton to a Leicester defender is probably a good play right now.

    Help?

    Panti
    Alderweireld, Terry, Dawson
    Mané, Hazard, Silva, Sánchez
    Austin, Kane, Agüero

    (Krul, Eriksen, PvA, Naughton)

2FT's (£0.9) and not much of a clue as to best moves going forward.
Naughty out 1st?? Or Aguerro or Austin or ???

Austin has Chelsea then a blank so he should go. Many are putting faith in Remy (but that comes with an element of risk). Otherwise Murray and Gomis are handy options.

Austin has WHU after that blank, although there are, of course, other potentially better options...

I do like Charlie but those fixtures are terrible. No faith in Remy myself. Murray seems worth a shot as it frees up funds for a Naughton upgrade to maybe a Coleman or Skyrtl??

I think Murray has done more than enough now. I certainly prefer him over the other two but If I knew Remy was a certainty for the DGW then I'd go there.

      I'd plan for the blank 33 & DGW 34

Use 1 FT Austin to Vardy maybe?.....and start Eriksen home to AV.

At least you'll have 2 FT still in the bag next GW 😉

Really don't know what to do about Mane.

A: Keep, hope he starts next 2 Gameweeks or I will get minimal points from him or Boyd (off bench)
B: Drop him for a -4 hit this week for a LIV Midfielder (in preparation for the double)

If he starts both or even one game then A is fine. If not B would be more favourable?

How does my plan look for this team.

    Gw32- Austin to remy
Gw33 save- play with no gk
Gw34- foster to mignolet eriksen to Henderson and kane to Sturridge for a -4

    Panti/foster

    Terry/Clyne/alderweireld/wollscheid/Hutton

    Hazard/silva/siggy/eriksen/boyd

    Aguero/kane/Austin

I think I am doing the same GW 33. Have the same keepers,, don't think its worth a transfer for a player who will get a max of 6 points probably. may swell save for DGW players.
