Welcome to this week’s Scout Picks Community Champion vote. Here’s a reminder of how this works. As part of our revamped Scout Picks, Mark, myself, Paul and a community champion picked by you each week are up against each other. All four teams are then used to decide our final weekly Scout Picks.

We are now looking for Gameweek 37’s Scout Picks Community Champion to represent you and get one over on The Scouts as well as be in with a chance of winning a special prize. The champion who manages the best Gameweek score (or best score from the first ten matches in a double Gameweek) will win a £100 Amazon voucher.

To put yourself forward simply add in your Gameweek 37 Scout Picks. For everyone else please upvote the poster you would like to represent you based on their picks.

We only need 11 picks and please be mindful of the 84m budget. There’s no captain in the picks either and please stick to a designated FPL formation, including no more than three players from one team.

Remember that, for this week, only the first matches for Arsenal and Sunderland count towards the final score for the Community challenge. This is to ensure all community champions have an equal shot at the top Gameweek score of the season prize of a £100 Amazon voucher. Nonetheless, the three Scouts are likely to focus their teams on the full set of Gameweek 37 fixtures in order to ensure our overall site Scout Picks are mainly weighted towards the double. In short this is a good week to get one over on the Scouts.

I’ll leave this vote open until 10am tomorrow (Wednesday) when I will announce the winner, who will be asked to submit their final XI plus 200-word explanation to me by 5pm Thursday.

Any attempts to disrupt the voting process may lead to the team involved being removed at our discretion. Also the comment section below is for those who want to present their teams and vote. If you have any suggestions on how the Scout Picks can be improved further next year please email me at jonty@fantasyfootballscout.co.uk rather than leave a comment below.

    Pantilimon

    Kolorov , Cresswell , Terry

    Arnautovic, Sanchez, Henderson , Silva

    Kane , Ings , Aguero

Pants - Save points + decent chance of a cleanie
Kolorov : Started the last few , free kicks , attacking potential
Terry : Wants to play 38 games + Chelsea + goal last week
Arnautovic : 12 shots and 5 in the box in last 4 see goals imminent table
Sanchez : Arsenal want second and scored two the week before . United
Henderson : chance created every 31.7 mins 4th best
Silva : last game big score
    Kane : Hull are awful
Ings : Scored last game and Stoke have nothing to play for
    Aguero

Okay it's my first time trying this 🙂

Mignolet - Banking on Liverpool keeping a cleansheet in the final home game at Anfield against a Palace side sitting safely in midtable.

Skrtel - As above. Also added goal threat + bonus point magnet.

Ivanovic - Desperate to play according to Jose. Always a threat. WBA have little attacking potential of late.

Van Aanholt - Sunderland need a result at home to Leicester, as they are away to Arsenal and Chelsea in the final two. As such, they'll throw everything at this. I can see PvA getting amongst the points.

Gerrard - Stevie is a must. Final home game of his Liverpool career. Written in the stars for him to score in front of the Kop.

Mata - Recently assigned to penalty duties, and always a goal + assist threat.

    Silva - In magnificent form.

Mane - Southampton's key attacker. Villa aren't exactly watertight and his pace will exploit Vlaar and co.

Aguero - No side is complete without Kun.

Kane - At home to Hull. Not in the best form but this the perfect fixture to change that.

Austin - Anyone playing against Newcastle is worth consideration. Can see this being a high-scoring affair with Austin most likely to benefit.

    Mignolet
    Skrtel - Ivan - PvA
    Gerrard - Mata - Silva - Mane
    Aguero - Kane - Austin

I thought i would give this a go this week. Please take a minute to gloss over my side and give it a vote up if you feel it's worthy enough to represent the community.

Mignolet - Liverpool at home with a good CS record, he's just won a player of the year award and will be confident.

Kolarov - the man, the myth, the legend. 90 minutes in 4 consecutive games, averaging a whopping 9.5 PPG.

Terry - Mr. reliable, 90 minutes every game, little yellow card threat, big goal and CS threat.

Janmaat - Picked more due to his attacking threat(8 assists), vs a QPR side potentially deflated after last weekend's thumping.

Mane - Southampton's liveliest attacker, with the pace to give Vlaar and Okore problems. Southampton may have defensive woes, but have still scored 7 in their last 4 home games.

Gerrard - Couldn't possibly leave him out this week. Last Anfield appearance, will be all over everything and i imagine the team will be playing for him, and setting him up with opportunities.

Cazorla - Set pieces and penalties against a shaky united back-line. 90 minute man. Likes to shoot.

Mahrez - Leicester are the in-form side in the league right now. 90 minutes in his last 2 games, full of confidence after a brace. Also loves to shoot.

Benteke - Villa are flying right now. Benteke is the main man upfront, great form and on pens vs Saints who've conceded 8 in their last 4 games.

Lukaku - If there's one team he loves playing, it's West Ham. On pens too which is a plus.

Aguero - Looking unstoppable right now. Always a massive threat to any backline. Pens.

    Mignolet
    Kolarov, Terry, Janmaat
    Gerrard, Cazorla, Mane, Mahrez
    Benteke, Lukaku, Aguero

Why not have a bash eh!!

Mignolet - looks like a 1 or 2-0 home win to me.
Kolarov, served me well last week, bang on form.
PVA - They need goals, he likes assists, and the clean sheet AT Everton was huge.
Skrtel - Same as Mignolet, plus chance of a goal and baps.
Terry - wants to play, clean sheet and bapy is likely.
Stevie G in his last ever home gamer is a no brainer.
Cazorla - feel that Arsenal will get a peno from United's clumsy defense -step up Santi.
    Aguero - need I explain
Kane - last home game against a poor Hull City
Benteke - one game blip doesn't turn me off his form.

Kosc - DGW, good home fixture
    Kolarov - Kolarov.
Ivanovic - Chelsea defender always good potential

Gerrard - last game at Anfield, will score hattrick
Sanchez - DGW, best Arsenal player
    Gomez - DGW, set pieces
Grealish - Saints are on vacation, Villa on form

Austin - Newcastle! Heigh ho silver!
    Aguero - Aguero.
Defoe - DGW, can get lucky and get a goal

I voted for Demi - he deserves a go. 🙂

But just for fun here's my cheapie team with a maximum of £5m for goalies/defenders and £7m for mids/forwards. I have mainly gone for players in form and with decent fixtures. At a total cost of 58.2m I reckon it will probably be the cheapest team ever entered in this competition.

    Pantilimon
    Cameron Alderweireld Ake
    Fer Henderson Sissoko Adam Mane
    Kane Solanke

Pantilimon - I think Sunderland can get a clean sheet; a 0-0 wouldn't be a disaster for either team

Cameron - Burnley are very toothless
Alderweireld - Southampton highly resilient at St Mary's, Benteke or no Benteke
Ake - great young defender, may well start and Chelsea have a good fixture for a clean sheet

Fer - one of those that has obviously put his shift in for QPR, always capable of a goal
Henderson - has impressed me this season with his improvement, much as I don't like saying so
Sissoko - the most talented Newcastle player in my view and fit again now
Adam - in one of those purple patches and has a fixture to shine in
Mane - Southampton don't score many but he tends to be involved when they do

Kane - would be my captain this week if it wasn't a DGW (and if he was in my squad)
Solanke - best young striker at Chelsea since Osgood, prolific in the youth and should get his 1st team debut this weekend, even if off the bench

PANTILIMON (4.5) - Really important game for Black Cats against on form Leicester. Expecting tight game and Panti has decent chance for cleen sheet and will probably get few save points.

KOLAROV (5.7) - Would be fantasy gold if only would be nailed starter. Two goals and assist in his last four games. Takes also direct fks.

TERRY (7.0) - Best defence and maybe best cb in league. Major goal threat.

LOVREN (4.9) - Decent goal threat against team that has nothing to play for. Palace has scored 1 goal in their last four games. Expect Liverpool to trash Palace.

CAZORLA (8.3) - Has pens and fare share of set pieces in his locker. 17 goal attemps in last four games.

GERRARD (8.5) - Last home game. Brace is written in stars. Has pens in his locker.

SANCHEZ (11.5) - We all know what he is capable. Stats are backing for explosion once again. I'm expeting high scoring game.

MANE (6.2) - Soton best attacking asset against one of the worst defences in league. My budget pick.

AGUERO (12.7) - Best striker in the league. Can't be ignored altough Swans are tough nut to crack

AUSTIN (6.2) - Expecting R's to put up a fight for last home game and leave pl with style. Newcastle has been woeful since Pardew left them. 10 goals conceded in last 4 games. R's don't have nothing to lose so might aswell go all out attack.

BENTEKE (7.9) - On form striker against out form team.

    Pantilimon
    Kolarov - Lovren - Terry
    Sanchez - Cazorla - Gerrard - Mane
    Austin - Aguero - Benteke

Never done this sort of thing before but I'll give it a go, any votes would be massively appreciated

Adrian- Can see a west ham clean sheet and a possible 0-0, both teams have no worries regarding relegation, plus Adrian loves a penalty save

Skrtel- Palace are safe and will have nothing to play for. BAPS magnet plus set piece potential
Janmaat- Can see QPR crumbling once again, morale is crumbling and regarrdless of past results, newcastle must get a result.
Kolarov- Incredible form, goal, assist and clean sheet potential

Silva- In form and city are on fire
Mahrez- Can't not pick a leicester player when they're in this form and mahrez loves to shoot
Mane- Up against a slow Villa backline who will be sure to attack, leaving gaps at the back
Gerrard- in some kind of form with 2 in the last 2 plus last home game- written for him to score

Ings- Burnley will want to end on a high, scored in last game and on pens
Cisse- QPR have been relegated and, as shown by the 6-0 loss to city, seem to have completely given up. However, this is a must win game for newcastle and cisse is back and is a proven goalscorer- newcastle's best bet for a goal
    Aguero- the man's a genius

For a last minute entry that might make sense...

    Ospina (5.0)

Van Aanholt (4.1) - Sunderland's best BPS scorer over the last few weeks, and one of the most attacking fullbacks in the league given the space. In a side fighting for survival, if it's not value for money, I don't know what is.

Ryan Taylor (4.4) - Deployed in midfield, an away game against QPR might look dangerous but this QPR is already relegated and Taylor himself racked up 4 Crosses and 4 Key Passes last game, meriting his assist. Another defender with potential attacking returns besides Kolarov.

John Terry (7.0) - Chelsea CS, goal threat, the rest is self-explanatory.

    Backline cost = 20.5M

Silva (9.6) - There isn't a more creative midfielder in the league bar an early season Fabregas that apparently wants more assists than Henry. Silva is less talk, more walk.

Mane (6.2) - One of the two shrewd signings in attack for this XI, Mane represented Southampton's best attacking threat over the past few Gameweeks, whether tactically or through the numbers. Against a Villa side nearly out of the woods, his runs behind the defense will trouble Villa.

Henderson (6.7) - Everyone will have a Liverpool pick, and Henderson's late runs into the box is the least likely to be picked up by Palace's midfielders, especially with Gerrard or Coutinho likely to be marked out.

Sanchez (11.5) - Captain's candidate. NO further explanation needed.

    Midfield cost = 33.9M

Giroud (8.7) - Another no-brainer. Paired with Benteke and Aguero against the rest of the field, he's definitely the most likely to score points.

Aguero (12.8) - Probably the top captain if Arsenal didn't have a Double Gameweek.

Benteke (7.8) - The only other striker in form besides Aguero over the past 8 weeks, besides Ulloa perhaps. Sunderland away will present a greater challenge than a Southampton side already on holiday.

    Forwards' Cost = 29.3M

    Total = 29.3 + 33.9 + 20.5 = 83.7M

All the best, thanks for the exercise

Chuck Kolarov in there instead of Trippier and this XI would've blown everything else out of the water

Ah, the 3 ARS, 3 SUN + Kane Kun Terry build.

        Nice Trippier differential there. Voted.

Thankd Berba, I considered Kolarov but have a hunch that Pele will play Clichy. But he is a good bet

Following an investigation and a close analysis of the votes we have been forced into the unhappy task of eliminating the winning team.

The scout pick champion is hearby named as S Kuqi.

Belated congratulations and if you can email your team and explanation over to me by 5pm Thursday that'd be great. jonty@fantasyfootballscout.co.uk.

I'm not going into any further details only to say that it is vitally important for all those taking part that they do not abuse the voting system. It is unfair on those community members who want a genuine shot at being part of the scout picks and win the £100 Amazon voucher for the highest gameweek score among the champions.
