Today’s Wembley showpiece between Chelsea and Arsenal affords Fantasy managers further opportunity to scout our options for the upcoming campaign, with the Premier League kick off now just six days away.

For the Blues, Diego Costa is sidelined due to “discomfort in his hamstring” once again. Loic Remy is handed the chance to lead the line in the Spain international’s absence, with loan signing Radamel Falcao on the bench. William and Ramires join Eden Hazard in the attacking midfield three behind Remy, with Jose Mourinho naming last season’s defensive regulars along with Cesc Fabregas and Nemanja Matic in the double-pivot.

Theo Walcott gets the chance to lead the line for Arsenal, with Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain selected in the XI as Olivier Giroud is named amongst the subs. Arsene Wenger’s side are as expected, otherwise, with Hector Bellerin selected ahead of Mathieu Debuchy at right-back, whilst Mesut Ozil and Aaron Ramsey join Oxlade-Chamberlain in the positions behind Walcott. Jack Wilshere misses out through injury for the Gunners.

    Walcott is nailed in my team now he's OOP for one of the top scoring teams in the league, and will no doubt be my captain next week too. Bye bye Ozil

            Well Cazorla makes the whole team tick, and Wenger has been talking up Ozil for a big season as the main protagonist, and Coquelin adds the steel at CDM.

            So if Ozil, Coquelin, Caz, Walcott, Giroud, Ox are all starting, it doesn't look good for Ramsey.

            I personally think it's one of the Frenchmen that will make way.

      Never in a competitive match in any competition. I don't now if they ever matched up whist Jose was outside of UK, just that Wenger has never beaten him.

    Anyone with a LIV defender not named Skrtel in their drafts?

    If the season started in WK2, I am sure there would be massive LIV defender representation in RMTs right now with a run of BOU, WHM, NOR and AVL -- all at home within a 6 weeks stretch.

    Ive been reading more and more about Joe Gomez as the summer has gone on. Everyone loves him. No one seems to rate Moreno. Gomez got the non in the stronger side yesterday while Moreno is starting in the "B" team today. (yes, Benteke and Firmino debuts, but otherwise "B" at every position.

    maybe BR does some sort of rotation? If that were true, I would think the lack of experience for Gomez would see BR go Moreno for the tough away fixtures to ARS and MUN, when you wouldnt want him starting for you in fantasy anyway.

    .5% ownership and if he didnt make the XI v Stoke, I find it hard to imagine with all the typical post-week 1 kneejerking that any manager's priority would be to use their FT on getting Gomez out so he seems a relatively safe gamble to not drop in price should the call go wrong. And at 4.5, that is a wrong call one can live with.

    So lads, tell me your thoughts on JoGo.

    I think I am going to risk Costa anyway, he should be fine for GW1.
    Lets be honest, Diego Costa heading into a match with serious injury concerns at home to Swansea, where have we heard that before. He got a hattrick last time and I wouldn't put it past him to do it again.
    Also Walcott is now in my team, it is an easy enough switch to Ozil if needed.
