After a reasonably low-scoring Saturday (for me at least), we have three remaining Sunday afternoon fixtures to increase our tallies. And with the four most selected captains in action today, according to our poll, we have every chance.

The first of two televised games sees Roberto’s Mancini’s Manchester City play host to Newcastle United. The headline team news for the 1:30pm game is that Newcastle leave striker, and fantasy favourite, Andy Carroll on the bench for the first time this season. For Man City, Jerome Boateng starts his first league game and Adam Johnson is once again on the bench, despite scoring mid-week…

Man City: Hart, Boateng, Toure, Kompany, Lescott, De Jong, Barry, Silva, Toure Yaya, Milner, Tevez

Newcastle: Krul, Perch, Williamson, Coloccini, Jose Enrique, Ben Arfa, Nolan, Tiote, Barton, Gutierrez, Ameobi

Then, on the other channel, Arsenal travel to Stamford Bridge to play Chelsea at 4pm, where both clubs are looking to bounce back from defeats last week. Elsewhere, and not on the box, 18th-placed Liverpool take on 16th-placed Blackpool at 3pm.

As always, the Dugout Discussion will be with you throughout the day. Enjoy.

So extremely early days and that, but before the season kicked off I, along with a good few others, thought that the teams going down would be
    WBA
    Wigan
    Blackpool

Now I know a few of ya are going to throw Liverpool into this (and funny it would be too) but realistically now it is much harder to say who'll drop. I think Wigan wont score enough to keep up, and Wolves are looking pretty vulnerable but its a tough shout for who else.

shold i play my WC over the international break to bring in tevez and VdV and to get rid of J Evans??

long story short, i want to make 5 changes, but have 2 free transfers, is it worth playing my WC for 3 changes?

          no

if you look at the last international break ,when a lot of people played it. i dont think it worked out too while for many!

dont get me wrong, now is a different time (and a slightly better time)

but im in a similar boat to you (would like to make a few changes) but i'll hold off and make them one by one, maybe take a risk and bring in VDV if u want him, as he will be very expensive by the end of th break. BUT his fixtures arent that great, so i wont be doing it...yet!

just logged in I CANNOT BELIVE or understand how liverpool lost to blackpool
i mean i took a four point hit to bring in torres and had to sell alex(who is now likely to outscore torres) to be able to afford torres

Hodgson has only got himself to blame, he shouldn't have played Torres on Thursday. I had a disater this week, everything that could have went wrong went wrong.

How is Hodgson to blame for Nando being fragile? He can't leave him on the bench all the time. He was fit for the game.

He shouldn't have played him on Thursday, Torres has a history of getting injured. If you are going to play him in three games in one week you are tempting fate, and that is what happened.

Enough time alongside Liverpool's general demise and the upcoming fixtures that you should at least seriously consider offloading him, whether he comes back "fit" or not.

And this is from a Torres owner, and a major fan.

            I have:

            Malouda 10.3 9.6 9.9
            Bale 7.1 6.5 6.8
            Albrighton 4.6 4.5 4.5
            Nani 8.6 8.3 8.4
            Gerrard 11.6 11.5 11.5

Who do I get rid of to get in VDV? All of them will cost me money to buy back, I was thinking of selling Malouda

If I get rid of Bale, then I don;t have enough cash for Gerrard to Fabregas

Well you didn't mention your Gerrard-Fab plans...

Get rid of FloMo then if you have Drogba.
