After yesterday’s disappointing start, many Fantasy managers will be looking for some of Sunday’s heavy hitters to come to the rescue.

A couple of 1.30pm kick-offs get us underway. Community Shield winners Arsenal welcome West Ham to the Emirates before Steven McClaren takes charge of Newcastle for the first time in the top-flight as in-form Southampton roll up to St James’ Park.

Stoke play host to big-spending Liverpool in the late kick-off, with Brendan Rodgers’ side looking to immediately avenge their 6-1 mauling at the Britannia in the final league fixture of 2014/15.

Paul Is certain he won't make the same mistakes next season. Follow them on Twitter

They missed O'Shea to be fair Kaboul and Coates were criminally bad you'd expect a recall for next match

Doosra, as a respected and knowledgable football follower please offer me some insight into how I could come to follow a team. I've never had a PL team to follow, aside from "soft spot" supporting for teams with an Aussie (everton - Tim Cahill, Crystal Palace - Mile). How did u come to support West Ham?

Regretting the nonchalant choice of Steven Taylor over Reece Oxford as 4 million defender right about now.

Rotation will always be a risk with certain players at Arsenal Giroud included and the OX... although less explosive Ozil and Cazorla are very safe bets for game time
