After yesterday’s disappointing start, many Fantasy managers will be looking for some of Sunday’s heavy hitters to come to the rescue.

A couple of 1.30pm kick-offs get us underway. Community Shield winners Arsenal welcome West Ham to the Emirates before Steven McClaren takes charge of Newcastle for the first time in the top-flight as in-form Southampton roll up to St James’ Park.

Stoke play host to big-spending Liverpool in the late kick-off, with Brendan Rodgers’ side looking to immediately avenge their 6-1 mauling at the Britannia in the final league fixture of 2014/15.

        His tweet implied that Chelsea were foolish for selling Cech, due to Courtois' dismissal against Swansea and hence relying on their backup keeper.

        But the joke backfired after Cech cost Arsenal today with his poor performance, less than 24 hours later.

        The joke isn't as funny when you have to explain it.

    I am concerned about holding onto Walcott.
    It seems that he will be benched against any time playing a reasonably high line defence and 9m is too much to have invested in a player who may only start 50%-60% of games.

    It's like a million miles away from liverpool's play going into rodgers' second season.       Got Bournemouth next week? Villa never threatened in the first half and only scored off a set piece via a header specialist. Gestede has 20 headed goals in his last two seasons alone. I'll be keeping Benteke for another week.

    I'd be wary with Gomez.. Because Moreno cannot defend to save his life, Gomez may be used more in the tougher games with Moreno playing in some home games. Nobody knows yet obviously, but wouldn't be surprised if this happened. Surely no way Gomez will play every game - Clyne will do though.

          People need to calm down, it's not as if anyone is scoring big, you will probably only be 20/30 points behind. The team you have spent weeks putting together has not turned to crap overnight. This game is about patience as 38 weeks is a long time.
