    I'm sure it was in a Community article about the Europa and how an early entry can sometimes help early on

    Maybe that's what happening with West Ham, just that extra bit of sharpness. Plus with them not making it they'll get midweeks off.

    Regarding Ritchie and Bournemouth:
    I watched the full 90 and Bournemouth were the better side by far and Ritchie looked immense(especially the first half). Amazing that they managed to keep nearly 60% possession in their first EPL game too. As a Ritchie owner i'm just gonna bench him for the next 2 weeks and then play him every week for his run of
    LEI nor SUN stk WAT

    Apart from stk the rest of the fixtures should be a similar test to what they went through in the Championship so i expect him to do really well and make himself an option again. If you can afford to bench him for a bit i'd recommend just doing that.
    Note: Surman looks a good bet at 4.5.. Made some good chances. Gradel looked good when he came on and Wilson looked a threat with his pace.
    A few more games in the EPL and it will all click for them..

      Surman's stats look decent.

      I think people had unrealistic expectations for Richie, first game in the Premier League followed by two tough aways. He could still be gold from GW4.

        Mahrez IS fpl gold. People are quick to dismiss him on here as a fad etc.. but his playing in the hole for a good attacking team, on corners and on penalties and only 5.5. Cant go wrong really 🙂 .. Love Mahrez.. and for once i got my flair player punt right! (after failing with Taarabt/Sessegnon/Moses/Jiminez/Simpson over the past 5-6 years 🙂 )

        the middle part of your question is all muddled..
        Francis dint look as attacking as he did in the Championship(though still good) but that is to be expected. As a whole Bournemouth looked very tight and were unlucky to concede

      Ramsey hit the post once.
      Ozil was in Oxford's pocket I believe.

      Ox was the stand out player by far. Ozil played well. Giroud was woeful. Ramsey hit the bar and Cazorla was good, but both played deep. Defence was below par, Cech was dire. Walcott was ok but didnt do much. Sanchez couldve scored a couple.

    Crazy how people are wanting to downgrade players like Ozil for Payet and Mahrez after one game, i've read on here that some want to downgrade Hazard for Oscar just because he scored! Its a marathon, not a sprint.

      To Payet is another story. If am not mistaken the guy had most assists in Ligue 1 last year, create more chances than any other player in Europe, had decent fixtures ahead and is on corner kicks and free kicks

    Just out of interest, look at your Transfers page, sort by BPS, and subtract goals and assists, etc.

    Goalkeepers and defenders scoring a goal - 12
    Midifielders scoring a goal - 18
    Forwards scoring a goal - 24
    Assists - 9
    Goalkeepers and defenders keeping a clean sheet - 12
