      Extra attacker potentially to get more points?

      I don't really think the AOA chip is the one to save for doubles anyway. Triple captain and bench boost more important.

        There was an article here about a month ago about the new chips and it was clearly written there that we should save the AOA chip for double gameweeks. Don't know why would we, really.

      i think you should play it when you're in trouble defensively. fairly useless chip all in all, especially if you have a cheap enabler in midfield like i do

        I think it should be played the week before you play your wildcard, if it's a planned one. A great time to ditch an expensive defender with a poor fixture, and replace him with a midfielder with better potential. Play the chip, then wildcard your defense back in shape.

    I think I was just outside the top 1,500,000 after GW1 last season. Already 1,481,111 with no players to come.

    LOL @ this gw.

    We all had such high expectations after the off season and FPL brings us back to earth with a bang. I've always said how much I hate GW1 as it's just a big gamble. Having said that I haven't done badly and I think because of our expectations we want far more from GW1 then from any other GW.

    I guess the reality is that most teams are still a little rusty and it could easily take a while before the usuals start to shine.

    Mid season we might be a little upset about a gameweek like this, but we wouldn't be dumping some of the players we know can score points off of one performance. It's just one gameweek.

      my two cents: being in the top 10 percent of players after first week is ok with 37 points but the fact that I had 18 on the bench and hesitated to play the bench boost card, picked walcott instead of cabaye and huth for the hopes of a goal instead of richards for clean sheet made this the most frustrating week for me ever

        Also, using the bench boost in GW1 would have been a waste. Save it for a DGW.

    27 from 9 with kolarov and kun left ,my only concern is pva ,sunderland looked awful,on the risers list the only one I can afford and fancy is toby ,might stick....
