      More pedigree than Ayew, and I don't like Monk as a manager FPL wise. Lots of early substitutions, even for his better players.

      dont know about oxford.
      Gomez is a real maybe. At home next against bournemouth so would seem logical even with Rodgers weird tactics.

      I think a part of why he played him was cause hes big and stronger than moreno probably and needed it for stoke game.

      id probably risk gomez in 1st team with hopefully a definite starting defender on my subs to replace if needed, if you have that..

    SUCH an annoying scoreline for city. Was anyone honestly expecting that?

    I thought if it was going to happen on the off chance then Sterling would get some points because I'm a liverpool fan and was so glad when he left that I thought he'd get points JUST TO SPITE ME. But no. He doesn't. To spite me.

            wouldnt it make more sense to, if i was going to, trade out Bertrand at 5.5 (who likely isnt back anytime soon) and I have 1.5m in bank so 7m to play with. then bench jagielka

    The only basis I'll keep is I don't know which cheapie to jump on. Tempted to get Mahrez as he allows aguero funds. Plus I thought he was outstanding and good stats albeit in the smallest sample size. Expect Leicester to keep up their attacking form from last year too.

      too many punts I think. Swap Schlupp for Morgan and Cleverley for Mahrez. Also not keen on Defoe.

      Gomis is great though.

      Keep an eye on price rises at fplstatistics and draft in potential price risers just in case they have a double rise....unlikely esp with the shorter gameweek but worth doing.

        I didn't watch the game Doos but I'm holding Azpi and Hazard, GW1 always throws up wild bandwagons and I think unless you have an injury/suspension it's pretty much always best to save this week

      Hazard currently is not worth his price tag...he will be though....but arguably not for a few weeks.

      Costa still one to watch...could be a handy differential.

      I'm keeping Azpi for now. Mourinho's Chelsea has always been better defensively against tough teams away.

      No go for me...I've gone without Hazard from the start, and quite happy iwth the decision. They don't look too good and the fixtures aren't great. Hazard's not worth his price tag at the moment, imo.

          Chelsea are not going to be that bad all season. Hazard is the best player, in the best team and plays every minute. He is the only player in the game who I put in my team at the start, and just leave all season long.

            I'm not saying I'm going without him for the whole season...
            The plan was just the first 8 GWs, where their fixtures were poor, where I suspected his output would drop, and the money would be invested smarter elsewhere.

          The only reason I have hazard is because I always want 2 big hitter captain options and only kun roo and has can be called big hitter this season imo.

          If kun is fit and playing up top on his own I'll go kun roo as my big hitters and dump haz but if kun is playing up to with bony which I suspect will happen I'll keep haz.

          As Jonty days above in defence of Costa it's only one game (although he does on the other hand blow off haz potential after only one game in the next breath)

              Not really imo.

              When Ozil, Ramsey, Walcott etc were all out and he was playing more or less as a striker (his best spell came up top beside welbeck/giroud when arsenal were playing 4-4-2). If Arsenal hit such an injury spell again or if Sanchez looks like he will be playing more further forward then I might be tempted but not playing where he was playing when everyone was fit in the second half of last season.
