As goalscorers sure, but in terms of overall impact on a game they are not even close.

      Reply fail below...

      Hennessey out for McCarthy.

Oxford won't do you any good when he's not playing in a week or two. I'd consider downgrading Cabaye or Sakho to slightly upgrade Oxford.

Not a bad idea, I did mine before this week's fixtures.

McCarthy is playing ahead of Hennessy
On the basis of yesterday I'd prefer a United defender to Skrtel
      I went without Hazard
      I'm still backing Walcott
And you have no Mane/Pelle. I went for Aguero Pelle Gomis up front

United defence is looking very appealing. It's the Schweinsteiger / Schneiderlin / Herrera / Carrick combo options in front of them which makes them so investable.

Thanks, i agree with you having the two HM's makes that vulnerable back line alot stronger right now, but will LVG give up a slot of either Schweinsteiger / Schneiderlin for Herrera in future? As utd seem a little lackbuster going forward with the 2 big boys controlling mid.

After Newcastle this week MU have swan, LIV, sou so Iwouldn't get a defender. I think the defences to get over the next 4 are mci, sou, spurs, stoke & aston.

I wanted to do that last week but saved one instead. Forgot to do it last night and had to take the price drop too. Now wait and see for me to see who I'll bring in for Wally to fund Rooney -> Aguero. What's your plan for next week?

        • Fantasy Football Scout Member
        • 11 Years
        10 years, 4 months ago

Ahkay fair enough. I was considering that or saving, ended up going with that since Walcott is a transfer waiting to happen. I may aswell have done it then since Payet has two brilliant fixtures coming up.

Now I have 2m ITB, Need 2.5 for Rooney -> Aguero. That may come from Hazard -> Sanchez or Silva depending on form. If not maybe Azpi -> Darmian or Benteke -> Gomis. We'll see.

I do too. But he is 0.1 more which ruins my master plan to bring in Aguero ๐Ÿ˜›

I could bring in Aguero this week with my 2 FT's. But its hard to sell Rooney when he has Newcastle at home.

Said it before and I'll doubtless say it again, but getting rid of Walcott is mental.

There are half a dozen reasons why he could be one of the top scorers this gameweek and for the rest of the season.

      1. Coldplay
        • 13 Years

Here's the thing. Even if he starts and score well this week, there is no guarantee that he starts the next game as well with Giroud lurking about. You pay 9.0 for someone, you want them to start every damn match.

    Schmeichel (Hennessey)

Cédric Mertesacker Francis Steven Taylor Alderweireld

    Fàbregas Özil Mata Mané (Wanyama)

    Agüero Rooney Wilson

With two free transfers, where'd you think this team needs most attention for upcoming fixtures?

      Defence.

I'd want to do something about Taylor (not starting), Francis (Bournemouth aren't very good) and Alderweireld (plays for Spurs).

You'll need a proper backup keeper soon too.

People selling Walcott/Hazard who are guns seems very risky. I understand the logic/arguments for doing so but I can draw a parallel to the league fantasy game I play. This year after round 1 people sold C. Parker who is a gun because he scored rather low. The next week he blitzed it & got a massive score. They are guns for a reason.

After a great (and flukey) GW1 I now look at my team with disgust after Rooney's performance last night, look at him, just stood there at the front - All flabby and follicley challenged...

ANYHOW! I now have 2 FT's - I am presuming Theo is worth keeping and I don't want to take the 0.1 hit, what you guys think? What would you change? All ideas/criticisms welcomed.

    Myhill, (McCarthy)
    Azpi, Cedric, Morgan, (Coates, Staylor)
    Walcott, Mahrez, Mane, Hazard, (Fletcher)
    Rooney, Aguero, Wilson.

    No money ITB.

I see the logic, Taylor is bench fodder - I could upgrade him to Shaw for 5.5, he looked great for UTD last night and will grow this season. Thanks.

TBH I am more worried about Mahrez as my 4th mid and Mane not being the main man at Southampton & having to share the points, but this weekends results will either alleviate or compound those fears.

        Thanks.
