Yesterday’s slim fantasy pickings has undoubtedly heaped the pressure on today’s four Premier League games to deliver. The Dugout Discussion chatroom will take you through them all, starting at White Hart Lane with Tottenham Hotspur versus Liverpool and culminating in Chelsea’s visit to champions Manchester United.

In and amongst those back-to-back games, two of our Europa League representatives, Stoke City and Fulham, take on Sunderland at the Stadium of Light and Manchester City at Craven Cottage respectively.

The “Super Sunday” opener kicks-off shortly, and here are the all-important team sheets…

Tottenham XI: Friedel, Walker, Kaboul, King, Assou-Ekotto, Kranjcar, Parker, Modric, Bale, Adebayor, Defoe.

Liverpool XI: Reina, Skrtel, Carragher, Agger, Jose Enrique, Henderson, Lucas, Adam, Downing, Suarez, Carroll.

Catching the eye are the big strike-partnerships both sides have named. Jermain Defoe and Emmanuel Adebayor continue upfront for Spurs, whilst Liverpool’s Luis Suarez and Andy Carroll start together for only the second time in the league this season.

Another headline is the return (to the substitutes bench at least) of Rafael van der Vaart, and it’s worth remembering he is not in Spurs’ Europa League squad.

    Aguero in next week, Rooney back in after that, option of Ade in for a four point hit either week. Grand plans, but still hoping Chicha (c) pays off in the short term.

    i think VDV is no value anymore at his price as spurs had no proper form stirker so cant see VDV being as effective goals wise this season.

        I don't think Aguero will be rotated any time soon. He's the one you can rely on. With that said, I think if you have brought in RVP you have to remind yourself why that is and dropping him ahead of a these fixtures feels like point chasing that could backfire.

      If you have Robin, keep him.

      If you had the choice to buy one of the two maybe (probably) Aguero would be the one you choose first but I wouldn't "waste" a precious transfer selling Van Persie with their coming load.

        Screw that. Arsenal are playing terribly. Sure they scored 3 goals but last season that would have meant at least 1 RVP goal!

        Man City are ripping teams apart at the moment.

    Didn't see Spurs vs. Liverpool. Is Suarez still a player worth having? Or Enrique?

    I was pretty hopeful for Liverpool at the start of season, but now it really doesn't seem so brilliant. They have only won Arsenal & Bolton, teams that are in a controlled or uncontrolled freefall without ability to defend. Also, they have kept clean sheet only once.
