OTAMENDI DEAL EDGING CLOSER

Within the last few minutes, Sky Sports News HQ has learned that a proposed deal between Manchester City and Valencia for Nicolas Otamendi is edging closer.

The deal appears to hinge on his buy-out clause. We understand he is refusing to train - or play - for Valencia.

Kompany likely to rise again tonight?

To WC or not to WC, that is the question. Whether 'tis nobler in the mind to suffer the slings and arrows of outrageous fortune, or to take arms against a Sterling and Walcott and by transferring end them:

Pro's:

- Light defence (designed that way as this team was only meant to last 4 weeks, but still...)
- Rooney
- Double Soton attack
- Sterling
- Benteke (could come good tomorrow)
- Terrified of no Swansea* cover against Sunderland
- Hazard (could come good at any time)

Cons:

- This game seems to go better when you stick to a plan, and my plan was to wait until after GW 4.
- I can get Aguero in without taking a hit by dumping Rooney.
- You'd want some Soton cover for their next two games.

(*Swansea, seriously, WTF? According to the stats and the football analytics I dip into they were the relegation fodder masquerading as a mid-table team. Now they are on fire).

Which is best, going without Chelsea, Arsenal or United cover? (I have Hazard, Cazorla and Rooney)

Very glad to see people selling Soton attackers on their WCs before Soton play 2 promoted teams.

Ditching the likes of Mane,Sterling etc for Mahrez seems crazy to me.

Mahrez will be heavily marked from now on in with managers instructing their DMs to sit on him and stop Leicester play.

Only a matter of time before the likes of Sterling and Mane start scoring big.

Saving the transfer next week but who do I bench? Or play AllOut Attack?
