Tempted into dealing our Wildcards by yet another “mediocre” Gameweek, Granville and I go through almost the entire episode before Jonty reveals he’s weakened and gone “active”. It’s a revelation that almost has us both logging off and reaching for our own panic buttons.

Before that dramatic finale, we find salvation via another bout of “rough the smooth”, cheering ourselves with tales of Gameweek totals which dip below even our miserable tallies.

We also take a further round of community questions, forcing me to “fess up” on Theo Walcott, while Granville laments Wayne Rooney’s form and the three of us tackle the merits of Mahrez, Ozil and loading up on City assets.

This episode was originally broadcast live on Monday using Google Hangouts via our YouTube channel. Be sure to subscribe to our channel to get notifications of future live episodes.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

That's what I thought at first, but actually 9.5 is quite accurate - especially considering Fabregas is 9.0

Trying to choose who to bench between Sterling and Hoolahan which would allow me to play a 3-4-3 - but I just know that I'm going to mess it up. My 3 defenders would be Azpi, Kos and Cedric. Am I better off playing the all out attack chip or should I save it for now?

Form is temporary, class is permanent.

Missing out one week is tough to take. But despite that there is still a greater chance of points from Sterling, than from Hoolahan, every time. That's why he costs more

    Butland (McCarthy)
    Kompany, Darmian, Gomez, Richards, Targett
    Sanchez, Yaya, Payet, Mahrez, Hoolahan
    Aguero, Benteke, Lukaku

What ya thing....main decision seems to be around Lukaku\Payet and instead go for Gomis+8.5Mid but unsure.

Other thing is thinking about downgrading Kompany to Kolarov as have strong cover (but know he could only play 15mins some games and annoy me)

The other problem i have is Payet,Mahrez,Hoolahan don't rotate at all (all are either home or away) which causes me issues.

Giggs found it impossible to sue the whole of Twitter. Libel against an unknown someone on line and not a clear organisation isn't worth the hassle. It would actually give the story more publicity and make many think 'the lady protests too much'.

For example, Jack Wilshere's 'injuries' are fake. He actually has a massive coke problem. Let's see how Jack responds.

If the person cannot be identified and the complainant still wishes to take action they may sue the site the hosts the comment. Under defamation laws if the publisher/host etc. is informed about the post, and they know it to be defamatory there may be a case for injunction and possibly even damages

Still faaaar to early for that sort of thing imo, 2 weeks of the transfer window to go and then the dreaded phantom injuries of the international break to worry about

      Entirely disagree.

If your team is in such a mess, it may be necessary. You can tell when watching a player that they're out of sorts. These sorts of things don't tend to correct themselves overnight. i.e Rooney

It'd be nice to have the luxury of waiting until later in the season, but by that point you may have fallen too far behind.

ALSO, losing your WC is not the end of the world, it just means you may have to plan a little further than you might normally, and take the odd hit

How does this team look for the GW? Set up correctly?

    Schmeichel
    Azpil bellerin Targett
    Hazard yaya Mane Mahrez
    Aguero Benteke Sakho

    Hennessey; Francis, Huth, Fletcher

Anything you would change? 0FTs and 0.9 mill in the bank.

Yep, looks fine. Maybe Huth first sub, but very little in it.

Ranking of 2.3 mill after 2 abysmal weeks.
    WCing this week.
Team Value has increased if nothing else.

Finished around the 1k mark last year.
Is a similar rank this season def gone now with such a poor start ye think?

Not at all, very early days.

Look at your GW ranks so far - I'm sure you had more than two weeks as bad as that last year as well.

Odd how people say Pedro is hugely over priced when he is basically the Spanish Walcott, but a bit better. Walcott was essential a few weeks ago.

At 9.5m, unproven in the PL & a rotation risk he is slightly overpriced.

Unproven in the PL but won something ridiculous like 22 trophies.

Give pedro a couple of weeks. See where he fits in at Chelsea and if he plays first team. Then consider him. At 9.5 right now it's a risk.

He is infact very different to Walcott...

Able to play in tight spaces, better running with the ball, better finisher, equally capable with either foot.... etc.

Walcott wasn't essential at the start either.

How can Man City possibly justify signing Mangala last season for big big money and now Otamedi at big bucks this season? Surely the Frenchman needs to depart.

I would presume he would be the long-term replacement for Demichelis

Has great European experience for a top side and is in his prime. Can't expect City to compete in the PL, FA, C1 and CL with just Kompany, Demichelis and Mangala.

One gets injured and that's a hell of a lot of fatigue shared between the other two players.

    Sanchez, Yaya, Depay, Payet, Westwood
    Aguero, Gomis, Diouf
