So, I'd wanted to WC next week. Still do.

Worried about getting destroyed on prices till I get to WC though... Would you do something here?

    Schmeichel (Schwarzer)
Mertesacker Azpi Targett (Huth S. Taylor)
    Sterling Ozil Hazard Mata Mane
    Pelle Kane (Hooper)

Would you make any transfers to protect against price rises here? Want to hold for one week before a WC if possible.

You've got at least 7 you'll want rid of and you'll pay more for the replacements if you wait. Mahrez could rise 0.3, Pelle and Mane could fall, Aguero will go up again. Hazard could drop. Of course, your patience could be rewarded. I wouldn't be surprised if Pelle put a run together of decent returns. I got rid of him last week for Diouf.

Just re-watched the entire Norwich vs Stoke game with an emphasis on watching Xherdan Shaqiri's every movement for the whole 90 minutes.

    Here's what I picked up.

    - His starting position for attacks is often one extreme or another. He's either very high and wide on the right, allowing for a 1-on-1 with the full-back if the ball is shifted quick enough, or drifting inside into little pockets of space within the midfield from which he can either turn the man and drive at the backline or simply recycle the ball if that option isn't there.

    - His movement off the ball is devastating at times. There are a few cases within the game where he makes an excellent run beyond and inside the full-back(Robbie Brady) but the ball is often under/over hit.
At times, Diouf drops into midfield to receive the ball and is followed by the centre-back, Shaqiri is very quick to capitalise on the space and makes the run inside the full-back and behind the centre-back. But again, the delivery often lacks the sufficient quality to breach the backline.

    - Glen Johnson himself is a key to Shaqiri's success/failure. The understanding between the duo is in development but early signs are very good. Johnson is one of very few full-backs who understand the importance of the underlap in giving Shaqiri space out wide to once again find himself in a 1-on1 with either the full-back or backtracking winger.

    - Shaqiri found himself inside the full-back and on the edge of the box on 3 occasions, twice a last ditch challenge prevented him from getting off a shot, the third resulted in a whipped shot which went just round the post.

    - Excellent set-piece delivery which lead to the goal, overall he took 3 indirect free-kicks, 1 when Adam was on the field(the Scotsman also took one too but unsuccessfully attempted a through ball around the ball). Also set-up Joselu with a cross from a free-kick right at the end which Joselu fluffed. His creativity is at a premium as a result of being on indirect free-kicks.

    - In terms of involvement in the final third he's second only to Diouf, this should pick up as he begins to gel with teammates and maybe even start in the #10 role rather than out wide.

I'd wait and see how he molds himself into the role and how Shaqiri's teammates react to him before investing in him as a fantasy asset, in my opinion. He's almost too special to make an immediate impact at a side like Stoke.

What do you mean by "too special to make an immediate impact at a side like Stoke" ?

It means will be able to or he won't make impact ?

Btw, I observed him too and agree that his success will highly depend on how his teammates can make it happens.

I think it's too much to have both Diouf and Shaq over the coming fixtures. If you have to pick one, which one would you pick?

What I mean by him being "too special to make an immediate impact at a side like Stoke" is that his teammates will take time to understand his movement and general ability. Too many times balls were under hit for him because they couldn't read his changes of pace or his inside/outside movement.

I'd be going Diouf mate, everything revolved around him, and probably will do until Bojan returns and Shaqiri establishes himself.

I'm in the UK here and looking into VPN to watch football - anyone here do this?

I understand the principle behind it but can't seem to figure out what kind of access you get to free content with it - as most streaming services in the UK for example would still cost money.

If I signed up to a VPN service would I tend to find all the big games free? I assume that I wouldn't be able to get onto stuff like Sky and BT Sport?

Accessing legitimate streams by an illegal method is still illegal....
