        Of the goals 100 goals scored so far, 34 were scored by strikers and they've only 33/250 bonus (13.2%)

        BP system is ignoring them, just look at Pelle today

          Yeah, but is this partly because the strikers haven't really got off to a good start? No one up front is really screaming out to be picked in FL. I'm glad there's more balance to the BAPs system though

        it's the random surprise callups like Shelvey(rumors are he is being called up) that catch you off guard. Everyone assumes Sanchez will play .. but a mahrez may go off and get injured and scupper transfer plans for all we know. Plus Teams playing Euros tend to play their main players both games.. much more lax regarding the friendlies. The guys listed in the friendlies probably the safer bets to get in early if needed

    Some people on FFS complain about the use of the word "casual". There's certainly merit to that complaint.

    But what is true right now is that a bunch of autocomplete ghost-teams ("casuals") are leading the overall rankings. And with the chip system, there are many teams up at the top who have 'emptied their clip' and are at the top for precisely that reason.

      I really don't like the terms "casuals".

      It stinks of snobbery to me that regular ffs posters are superior FPL players and these other guys have no fight to be high in the rankings.

      Also how casual is a casual these days?

      If posted on this before but its the information era of the smartphone and Twitter, people are clued on, just because they don't regular post on a fantasy football site that doesn't make them any less informed.

        I have some friends who are casuals . I know they are casual as have seen them do thier weekly transfer with no thought for fixtures or plans for future weeks ...they are not even seater of shot in the box stats 🙂

        This does not insult them but us , we should be beating them easily as we put in much more time

      Before today there was hardly anyone here in the top 1k, but by the end of the season half of the top 1k will be ffs regulars. Casuals are at the top due to Man U and Liverpool having 3 clean sheets and the big hitters not performing. The tide has started to turn and we will soon reign supreme once more!
