After scoring 16 goals and providing eight assists in his maiden campaign in the Premier League, hopes were high for Alexis Sanchez coming into the new season, despite concerns over the Chilean’s fitness levels after his exploits for his country in this summer’s Copa America.

With just a single assist to show from the first four Gameweeks, though, many of Sanchez’ 12% ownership in Fantasy Premier League (FPL) will soon start questioning whether the Arsenal attacker is worth his considerable 11.0 price tag. In this ‘Monitor’ article for members, we compare the former Barcelona man’s underlying statistics from last season to this in order to ascertain just why he is failing to live up to his 2014/15 exploits.

        Sanchez (STK)
        Silva (cry)

            I mentioned this below:

With Kolarov (cry), Shaw (LIV) and Williams (wat) my defense is strong enough that playing the AOA feels wasteful, no?

oh cr*p yeah, well first of all, what a team....bench boost??

i'd probably bench Payet or one of the Swansea players, watford seem pretty tight at the back and I can see a 0-0 or 1-0 Swans.

Good luck, hope it doesn't bit you in the @ss 🙂

Ha. Thanks! I wish my team on paper was as good as my current standing 🙂

Benching Wilson when he had a hattie and stubbornly waiting too long on Kolarov have really hindered my total. But it's early.

If it turns out that Koscielny cannot play this weekend (he is yellow again on FPL, and was held out of the France match the other day), I am tempted to do:

    Kosc > Cresswell

the difference being all those players above (with the exception maybe of Ox) are starting players for their clubs rather than young prospects that could potentially be good.

I actually think the squad is very balanced and we have depth at every position aside from defensive mid, with a better manager than Roy I'd feel a lot more confident though.

Whats the pull towards Payet, looking to offload him for Ayew/Shaq myself.

I've seen him play and he's a brilliant player that's on set pieces so he's a good fantasy option, I can understand the temptation to drop him after he blanked the last two games.

I'm keeping him this week and if he doesn't deliver might swap to Ayew as well.

i used my WC last time. it was an epic fail. this is the team i had.

    Butland (Gomes)
    Richards Skrtel Kolarov (Cedric Darmian)
    Shaqiri Sanchez Toure Mahrez(c) (Westwood)
    Benteke Wilson Aguero(vc)

I couldn't believe my luck when i saw that most of these players failed. I need to make amends this week. I have one FT and all other chips available. Kindly suggest me the correct transfer that might help me get maximum points.

    Any and all suggestions appreciated.

    Thanks.

Plus it gives you 3 citeh for their good run. Monitor sterling as he may be playing as striker.

            Anyone have or getting Sterling?

Playing as winger and second striker at times, goal threat could be better than Silva.

Had him and Kolarov from the off

That Kolarov goal v Everton was a joyous moment

I'll get him once he learns to finish.

Would you bench boost if you were this guy?

Just curious on people's thoughts about the BB chip...

I'd save BB for a DGW late in the season. Only the AOA chip is probably worth playing in a single game week, as it is the least likely to add lots of points in a DGW
