There’s no doubt that Harry Kane’s emergence last season was one of the more remarkable storylines seen in the Premier League in recent years, with the Tottenham forward scoring 21 goals as Mauricio Pochettino’s side recorded a fifth place finish.

Having failed to register any attacking returns in his four appearances so far this season, though, Kane is struggling to live up to his 9.4 price tag in Fantasy Premier League (FPL), with the striker’s heavy workload over the nine months perhaps to blame. In this ‘Monitor’ article for members, we compare the England man’s underlying statistics from last season to this, and investigate some of the reasons why he may be struggling to hit the heady heights of the previous campaign.

          I think Mahrez. Better form, good fixture. Sanchez stats flatter him and Palace are better defensively than people say.

    Why does Cout's ability generally get a bit overstated?

        Why not?

        Especially with a more expensive keeper you'll want a 4.0 and he's got a great chance of remaining #1, none of the others do.

        He has played well, Palace have played well, they're second in the league so I doubt Pardrew will change anything up. Speroni conceded 3 (?) when he played for the U21s and he's getting on a bit now at 36.
