While the FPL bonus points are yet to be added, the EA PPI Index statistics have been updated and, as it stands, here is a breakdown of how the bonus is currently mapping out. Please note – this is not confirmed and could be subject to change.

Arsenal 3 Bolton 0
Van Persie 3, Song 2, Ramsey 1

Arsenal’s scorers dominate the bonus awards with Aaaron Ramsey picking up the remainder for his part in Van Persie’s opening goal. The Welshman is yet to be credited a second assist for getting a touch to Bacary Sagna’s pass which was converted by Alex Song – we believe that this will be reviewed.

Chelsea 4 Swansea 1
Ramires 3, Bosingwa 2, Mikel 1

Maximum bonus for Ramires with his brace of goals in Chelsea’s victory. Jose Bosingwa’s outstanding season continues with an assist and 2 bonus, while Mikel picks up the single bonus, just edging out Ashley Cole and Juan Mata. Mark Gower and Ashley Williams were the top PPI performers for the Swans.

Liverpool 2 Wolves 1
Suarez 3, Downing 2, Enrique 1

After weeks of missing out on bonus, Luis Suarez at last comes good with the maximum, courtesy of his first-half strike. As we predicted in our ICT analysis, both Stewart Downing and Jose Enrique fetched the remaining bonus. Steven Fletcher was just outside bonus recognition for the visitors.

Man City 2 Everton 0
Milner 3, Hart 2, Aguero, Richards & Balotelli 1

James Milner’s second half strike after emerging from the bench was enough to see him the top PPI ranking and 3 bonus here, while the clean sheet for City saw Joe Hart gain a high PPI score ahead of the back four in front of him, qualifying him for 2 bonus. Two rather unpredictable outcomes. Micah Richards did at least pick up a single point, shared with Sergio Aguero and Mario Balotelli who all recorded identical PPI scores.

Newcastle 3 Blackburn 1
Ba 3, S Taylor 2, Hoilett 1

No surprises here – Ba recorded the top EA PPI score of the gameweek (59) with his hat-trick. Steven Taylor again soaked up bonus points, despite failing to keep a clean sheet this time around. Junior Hoilett, as expected, sneaked in for a single bonus after another superb display for Rovers that included a consolation goal.

QPR 1 Aston Villa 1
Bannan 3, Collins, Ferdinand & Hall 2

As expected, Barry Bannan’s spot-kick conversion saw him gain the maximum bonus from match devoid of standout performers. James Collins shared 2 bonus with Rangers’ Anton Ferdinand and Fitz Hall, as the defences came out on top here.

Stoke 1 Man United 1
Nani 3, Walters & Etherington 2

While Nani’s PPI Index of 22 saw him out in front in this one, below him, there were an array of players all tightly contesting the remaining bonus. Stoke’s pairing of Jon Walters and Matt Etherington shared 2 points each with identical PPI”s, which meant that Rio Ferdinand and Darren Fletcher just missed out.

West Brom 0 Fulham 0
McAuley & Riise 3, Reid 1

Another match with a tight set of PPI scores – it was West Brom’s Gareth McAuley who claimed the maximum, sharing it with John Arne Riise who received an identical PPI. Steven Reid got just a single bonus point for his showing then, with keepers Ben Foster and Mark Schwarzer ranked next in a game were defences dominated.

Wigan 1 Tottenham 2
Van der vaart 3, Bale 2, Modric 1

Tottenham’s goalscorers Van der Vaart and Gareth Bale claimed the top spots here, with an assist helping Luka Modric to a third place PPI ranking and a single bonus point. Emmanuel Adebayor and Mohamed Diame just missed out on recognition.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

    Morning All,
Terrible week for me, oh well. Currently have Dzeko Rooney Suarez up top, Im definetly going with Adebayor and just need some advice on how to bring him in.
    A) straight swap for Dzeko, I have Kompany and Silva for Man City cover.
    B) Swap for Rooney and go without him for next three fixtures, woud leave me with Nani only for Man U covers. Allows me to upgrade Ferguson to Mata I currently have no Chelsea cover. Then bring him back in after. The money I will make on Adebayor should really conteract any major loss on Rooney (i think!)

      Morning Dom.

I think B sounds well thought out. I think Nani will be enough coverage for this week, but you'd really be riding your luck any further than that!

I think the shot that hit the woodwork (shot off target for PPI) would have pushed him out of the bonus points

To WC or not to WC? Anyone care to offer an opinion?

    Current Team:

    Given Vorm

    Baines, Bosingwa, Brown, Warnock, Simpson

    Young, Silva, Moses, Cabaye, Fox

    Rooney, Graham, Suarez

Sitting about 480k overall and behind about 45 points in mini league. Not worried about mini league, but looking at moving up overall...

Gone for Wellbeck partnering Aguero. Keeping Rooney. Need to have a scoring forward, is Wellbeck a good option (I know Sturridge but worried he won't get a look in).

Capo and vice-capo for this week??

de Gea vs Norwich (possible clean sheet)
    Young vs Norwich (assists?)
Suarez vs Everton (can Liverpool break down the Everton wall?)
    Ade vs Arsenal
Silva vs Blackburn (because he's a safe option)

Just going to bench Roon for this week as well, bring in Dyer and save my FT.

Are you insane in the membrane?
These new bonus formulae are ****.

Yes totally agree ! If Milner is getting maximum points, this PPI system is seriously flawed. And what exactly did Jo Hart do to get the 2nd highest rating ? . The system just reinforces the inherent bias in the standard FF points scoring - e.g. Milner ended up with 9 points to Silva's 6 even though Silva was by general consensus MOM , played 90 mins, set up the goal with a great piece of skill (making Milners finish relatively easy) and could have scored a couple himslef with a bit more luck . At least before someone who had a decent game withough scroing or assisting stood a chance of some bonus points, now itsa complete joke . I strongly suspect they've got some 'genius' IT/Maths graduates doing this PPI stuff, who know **** all about football. You don't need some complicated formula, why not just average out the player ratings given by 4-5 journos in their match reports ? Come on guys , sort it out !

i just bought in sturridge the kids the best, it won't take long for him to put a goal in, so even if he only plays 30min, he'll be fresh and out there witha purpose 😀
and if he doesn't play ur 1st sub comes on its, kinda win/win (unless he plays less than 60 min and does nothing)
but thats a risk u've got to be willing to take

What on earth justifies 2 BPs for Hart, he didn't have a single save to make of note and the only reason he kept a clean sheet was because his defense cleared off the line from Fellaini in stoppage time after he made a mess of Everton's last attack.

      agreed,
yet they can find 1 for practically every other bloke, i thought considering they were just throwing points away that, BK and Sliva were a bit stiff ( i might be a bit one eyed i have both)
that said i had A.ferdiand and didn't think he was going to be anywhere near getting points (thought another middle to above average of the range performance wouldn't see points)
i don't understand how this PPI is calculated
