Ben Foster suffers an injury setback for the Baggies. Graziano Pelle is passed fit for Southampton. Christian Benteke, Roberto Firmino and Dejan Lovren are all sidelined for Liverpool, whilst Francis Coquelin misses Arsenal’s trip to Leicester.

Brendan Rodgers has confirmed that Christian Benteke, Dejan Lovren and Roberto Firmino are all ruled out of Liverpool’s home encounter with Villa this weekend. Lovren is out for a few weeks with ankle ligament damage, whilst Firmino “may have cracked something in his back”. The Reds boss has also conceded “there is no timeline” on Benteke’s return from a hamstring injury.

Francis Coquelin has been ruled out of Arsenal’s trip to Leicester with a knee problem. The Gunners are awaiting the FA’s verdict on Gabriel’s improper conduct charge later today.

West Brom stopper Ben Foster has suffered a setback in his battle to overcome a knee injury, with Tony Pulis suggesting that Foster is now expected to return around Christmas time.

The weekend will again come too soon for Tommy Elphick, with Eddie Howe confirming the Cherries defender has failed to recover from the ankle problem which saw him miss out against Sunderland. Elphick joins Harry Arter on the sidelines, with the latter still unavailable due to a groin injury.

Ronald Koeman has allayed fears over Graziano Pelle, revealing that the Italian is available for the weekend after recovering from a foot injury. The Saints boss will also make a late decision on whether to start Ryan Bertrand against the Swans, stressing that the left-back needs games now he has returned from injury. Elsewhere Jordy Clasie is back in full training, though the weekend will come too soon for the summer signing.

Garry Monk has a fully-fit squad to choose from for the Swans’ trip to St Mary’s.

Leicester boss Claudio Ranieri has no new injury concerns ahead of the meeting with Arsenal. The Foxes are still without Nathan Dyer, though, with the winger still not 100% fit after suffering a blow to the knee against Aston Villa.

Slaven Bilic has revealed that there are a few knocks to assess in the Hammers camp ahead of the visit of the Canaries, though adds that they isn’t anything “major or serious” .

Louis van Gaal has more worries at left-back, after Marcos Rojo was ruled out of United’s home clash against Sunderland due to a hamstring injury.

Watford veteran Lloyd Doyley stepped up his recovery with a run out for the reserves yesterday. He was also joined by new signing Mamadou Oulare, who improved his match fitness with a 90-minute appearance. Hornets boss Quick Sanchez Flores reckons Adlene Guedioura, Steven Berghuis and Nathan Ake are “close to being ready for the starting XI”.

All this and more has now been updated in the Team News section ahead of tomorrow’s deadline. Keep an eye on our official Twitter Stream as breaking news unfolds.

May have been posted, but Alex Neil had this to say

“I think people make a lot of that. But as a manager I think you would take a 3-2 over a 0-0 any day.

“Providing we are scoring goals and winning games then keeping clean sheets becomes less important. Points are the most important thing, or wins, if it is a cup game.

“Obviously we want to keep cleans sheets, we don’t want to concede goals but if it means that we need to score two, and we are capable of scoring two, then I would much rather accept that than a drab 0-0.”

    Ruddy gone next week then!

Ill tell you why I'd choose Targett.

He will only play 60-70 mins then Bertrand will play 20 mins. I reckon he'll get a clean sheet and then if/when Swansea get a late goal he'll still keep his cleanie.

Considering Norwich and Leicester won't keep any CS soon and uncertain Cedric place plus tricky games for Southampton, what move would you prefer

    A. Ruddy -- Butland/Gomes
    B. Huth --- Cathcart/Nyom/
    C. Cedric --- Evans/ Sakho/ Williams/ Naughton

I'd do B, cos you should consider how the extra cash would be used in subsequent weeks. It's a chess game.

Kun usually scores at White Hart Lane, right? In fact, he could have had about 10 last year.

True, but his form for Citeh isn't right now. Could be due an explosion or could be firing more blanks...

His form is a worry and to be honest im slightly worried about him at the mo, i wont captain due to his form and the fact i hate captaining a player in early kick off

I never worry about his form. He seems the confident type that should be right on it again tomorrow.

Yes.No timeline on Benteke, his price and his form will make him one to watch. Though the fixtures could prove to be a thorn.

Anyone else thinking about Deeney? Sounds as though he is playing very well. Maps suggest he is more advanced than Igahlo too. Due a goal I say. On pens too?

Completely ignoring form/conversion rate makes no sense to me . Deeney is struggling unless you can come up with a better reason then he is due I would not bring him in

      Yeah he's a good option.

Playing as a number 10 recently and on pens he was goal threat and assist potential, whereas Ighaloo is a goalscorer. Problem is your backing Watford attack, which i don't trust.

Personally, can't look past Vardy myself.

They seem to have broke loose a bit recently though. By all accounts, he bullied the Newcastle defence brilliantly last week.
