Ben Foster suffers an injury setback for the Baggies. Graziano Pelle is passed fit for Southampton. Christian Benteke, Roberto Firmino and Dejan Lovren are all sidelined for Liverpool, whilst Francis Coquelin misses Arsenal’s trip to Leicester.

Brendan Rodgers has confirmed that Christian Benteke, Dejan Lovren and Roberto Firmino are all ruled out of Liverpool’s home encounter with Villa this weekend. Lovren is out for a few weeks with ankle ligament damage, whilst Firmino “may have cracked something in his back”. The Reds boss has also conceded “there is no timeline” on Benteke’s return from a hamstring injury.

Francis Coquelin has been ruled out of Arsenal’s trip to Leicester with a knee problem. The Gunners are awaiting the FA’s verdict on Gabriel’s improper conduct charge later today.

West Brom stopper Ben Foster has suffered a setback in his battle to overcome a knee injury, with Tony Pulis suggesting that Foster is now expected to return around Christmas time.

The weekend will again come too soon for Tommy Elphick, with Eddie Howe confirming the Cherries defender has failed to recover from the ankle problem which saw him miss out against Sunderland. Elphick joins Harry Arter on the sidelines, with the latter still unavailable due to a groin injury.

Ronald Koeman has allayed fears over Graziano Pelle, revealing that the Italian is available for the weekend after recovering from a foot injury. The Saints boss will also make a late decision on whether to start Ryan Bertrand against the Swans, stressing that the left-back needs games now he has returned from injury. Elsewhere Jordy Clasie is back in full training, though the weekend will come too soon for the summer signing.

Garry Monk has a fully-fit squad to choose from for the Swans’ trip to St Mary’s.

Leicester boss Claudio Ranieri has no new injury concerns ahead of the meeting with Arsenal. The Foxes are still without Nathan Dyer, though, with the winger still not 100% fit after suffering a blow to the knee against Aston Villa.

Slaven Bilic has revealed that there are a few knocks to assess in the Hammers camp ahead of the visit of the Canaries, though adds that they isn’t anything “major or serious” .

Louis van Gaal has more worries at left-back, after Marcos Rojo was ruled out of United’s home clash against Sunderland due to a hamstring injury.

Watford veteran Lloyd Doyley stepped up his recovery with a run out for the reserves yesterday. He was also joined by new signing Mamadou Oulare, who improved his match fitness with a 90-minute appearance. Hornets boss Quick Sanchez Flores reckons Adlene Guedioura, Steven Berghuis and Nathan Ake are “close to being ready for the starting XI”.

All this and more has now been updated in the Team News section ahead of tomorrow’s deadline. Keep an eye on our official Twitter Stream as breaking news unfolds.

Any Watford peeps on here?... i'd like to start Anya vs /CPL/ over Ayew /SOT/ (have Gomis)....

But will he start i wonder?...

    Bottomed.

    1 FT, 3.0 ITB

    McCarthy
    Kolarov Williams Azpi
    Sánchez(vc) Yaya Mahrez Payet
    Pellè Wilson Agüero(c)

    Butland Westwood Huth Oxford

    1) Which transfer to make:
    a) Willams -> Evans
    b) Willams -> Dawson

    2) Play McCarthy or Butland

    3) Anyone suggest a plan for getting Pedro/Hazard in for Chelsea's run of fixtures? Dropping Sanche is the obvious route but I want to give him another go against Leicester.

    Appreciate your feedback fellas.

      Dawson

      Butland

Play Sanchez this week. If he blanks, swap for Pedro/Haz next week.

Thanks, this is my current approach.

While Dawson is seen as the safer option with a tiny attacking threat, I think Evans has a better chance of BP. That's the only thing tempting me with Evans

I don't think you need to make a transfer at this point

      Butland

Sanchez to Hazard next week if you must

      1a

      2 Butland

      3 Pelle to Igahlo

        10 years, 4 months ago

        Thanks.

I actually transferred Pelle in this week. I think he's underlying stats are really strong so I'll be giving him a chance for a few weeks.

You rate Watford and Igahlo's ability to score goals? I haven't seen much of them other than highlights and I know they struggled to score up until a couple of weeks ago.

        1. chilli con kone
          • 12 Years
          10 years, 4 months ago

I don't think that Watford will score bucket loads by any means but Igahlo is now playing ahead of Deeney rather than behind, has a superb scoring record across the whole of 2015 and has some nice fixtures on the horizon. I'd rather have Pelle long term though so I wouldn't sell if you've just brought him in

Cheers. I've definitely got one eye on him but he hasn't quite hit the top of my shortlist yet. The guy winning my ML is a Watford fan and he's had him in for a couple of weeks, which has obviously worked out great for him.

      Well I'd save this week

      But to answer your questions

      1) b
      2) Butland
      3) If Sanchez blanks again, easily Sanchez > Hazard

Unanimous on Butland over McCarthy. Thanks all!

The bookies have Palace ahead in terms of CS potential by a distance, is it the save points that are attracting people to Butland?

I am playing McCarthy over Butland and Ayew benched i feel the 3 striker's will score..

    McCarthy

    Kolarov Darmian Francis

    Mahrez Yaya Pedro Payet(v.c)

    Wilson Aguero Martial(c)

    Subs Butland-Ayew-Richards-Davies 0.7 in bank

I like the BTTS. Not sure you can do a double on both. Benching Mahrez so not sure what to say r.e. backing him to score 😉

Why bench him?! Mistake imo, I'm even considering him as my captain! No Coq for Arsenal too which could be huge.

Can't you add them to an accumulator or something?

I don't believe so, as they're both outcomes from the same mach unfortunately.

Yes, slightly worried about no Coq. I just feel Ayew and Wilson are more likely to do well.

‘I think they make us one of the most exciting teams in Europe. As a player, to have those attacking team-mates makes my (attacking) duty a little bit less! ‘For the moment I just focus on defending (in the holding role) because offensively we have a lot of power. They don't need me on the attack side now.’

Do we know what team he supports? Being from the Wirral I'd guess maybe Tranmere?

Palace are normally devastating away from home, against a promoted team and Mahrez against an arsenal team without Coquelin...

Well then you have a decent team i swapped Gomis for Martial obvious choice this weekend,...i see your playing Ayew i dont feel there is anyone this weekend i want to take out for Ayew hence benching him.

Any word on Silva's injury yet?
Can't check in before the deadline anymore so Silva --> KDB the safest choice then?
