A poor start to the season saw Tottenham lose heavily to both Manchester clubs but Saturday’s win at Wigan gave Harry Redknapp’s side their third win in a row to move up to sixth in the league. Sandro’s return to the first team following a knee injury saw a change in thinking from the Spurs boss as his team’s shape resembled more of a 4-2-3-1.

Pairing the Brazilian with Scott Parker in the middle, Redknapp moved Luka Modric to a starting berth on the right, giving him license to drift inside, and with Rafael Van der Vaart stationed behind Emmanuel Adebayor, Gareth Bale produced an outstanding performance wide left as he looked more like the player who won last season’s PFA Player of the Year award.

In our latest article for Members, we analyse the data from the win at the DW Stadium, as a dominant display saw Bale ranked third overall in our ICT Index ratings for Gameweek 6, behind only Robin Van Persie and Demba Ba.

    My team as it stands:

    Mignolet/Given
    Bosingwa, Kompany, Simpson/ShawX (Hughes)
    Jarvis, Young, SWP, Silva (Moses)
    Ade, Aguero, Agbonlahor

Really don't think it needs much changing, could potentially save a transfer.

Need to decide which keeper and also a defender from Simpson and ShawX? Thoughts?

Not really. and got all of them with the exception of ward before price increases.

My 3 strikers take in excess of £35mill of the budget and the 2 star midfielders a further £20mill leaving around 45-50 mill to share between 10 players

moses is getting a lot of the brunt this early season. there's players like downing and n'zog who have all failed to grab an assist or goal for much heftier price-tags. 2 wrongs don't make a right but i can't see any 5mil options scoring well to be honest

    Vorm
    Warnock~bosingwa~Lescott

    Best~Rooney~Dzeko

    (Al-habsi~Taylor S~DeLaet~ Moses)

Then next week everyone wants RVP for his home game with Sunderland not Rooney away to Pool. Too much short termism on the site this year. Nothing personal, but the good players will balance out. Rooney in November for me if he's still firing.

You have a decent team, I wouldt go ruining it just for 1 good fixture.

Is Modric a good choice as cheap spurs coverage?
does he take corners, free kicks or anything?

Does anyone else wish you could save more than 1 free transfer?

I've got 2 free transfers this week but I don't really have any changes I want to make!

    Given (Vorm)
Bosingwa S.Taylor Shawcross (Enrique) (De Laet)
    Silva Arteta Taraabt Brunt (Dyer)
    Aguero-(v) Rooney-(c) Adebayor

Enrique as first sub, ahead of Dyer. What do we think overall, inc. captain choice?

Sorry to post again. Had a look at my rivals teams and seen only 2 of the 8 have Aguero, so could be a good differential if i can get him in.

    Given, Ruddy
    Kompany, Bosingwa, Brown, Simpson, Wilkinson
    Mata, Silva, Arteta, Dyer, Moses
    Rooney, Adebayor, Dzeko

Anything to suggest or just hope Dzeko starts? (can't see anyone in my league with him).

I'm worried with no United coverage now, should I do Mata - Nani for four point hit and capt him, currently have captain Aguero:

    Team:

    Vorm
    Bosingwa, Kompany, Luke Young
    Mata, Jarvis, Silva, Larsson
    Best, Aguero, Suarez

    (Given, Simpson, Jagielka)

I can but I did a transfer of Rooney to Aguero early in the week, dont think its sensible to do point hit to get him back
