Thereโ€™s just the one Premier League fixture for Fantasy managers to monitor over their Sunday lunches, with Watford welcoming Crystal Palace to Vicarage Road.

Itโ€™s a tale of two sides with conflicting form: the Hornets are riding high after back-to-back victories, while the Eaglesโ€™ wings have been clipped by successive defeats.

Watford rank third-bottom for goals conceded (five) and big chances conceded (five), illustrating their diligence at the back. Moreover, they are the only side in the league that are yet to concede a home goal this campaign. The Hornets have added a sting to their defensive resolve in recent Gameweeks, too, recording wins over Swansea and Newcastle.

The Eagles amassed eight goals through the opening four Gameweeks but have registered consecutive blanks since then. Also of concern to Alan Pardew is the fact that Palace have conceded more shots inside the box (66) than any team in the league. That being said, they rank sixth for big chances (10) and shots on target (28), which should ensure that Watfordโ€™s back line are in for a testing afternoon.

    whats the story with own goals this season - last week Hazards goal was declared a Chambers OG by the dubious goals committee but Hazard has still kept the points.....i thought FPL wud update the points accordingly?? also will Tadic keep his goal from this weekend...that looked like an own goal too?

    As a Wilson, Gomis and Ayew owner I think I might be better off going for Ighalo rather than Vardy because I'm gonna lose ALOT of money on my toxic Swansea assets and the substantional price difference between Ighalo and Vardy will come in very handy.

    Was just messing around and with today's prices say I did Wilson > Vardy and down the line Gomis > Martial (yes I know I missed out, he is the real deal and Man Utd one pronged attack!). Doesn't really leave many options for Ayew's replacement. 2.4M ITB as well!

    Don't forget there's a International Break between GW 8 and 9 and I'd rather not take any more hits.
