There’s just the one Premier League fixture for Fantasy managers to monitor over their Sunday lunches, with Watford welcoming Crystal Palace to Vicarage Road.

It’s a tale of two sides with conflicting form: the Hornets are riding high after back-to-back victories, while the Eagles’ wings have been clipped by successive defeats.

Watford rank third-bottom for goals conceded (five) and big chances conceded (five), illustrating their diligence at the back. Moreover, they are the only side in the league that are yet to concede a home goal this campaign. The Hornets have added a sting to their defensive resolve in recent Gameweeks, too, recording wins over Swansea and Newcastle.

The Eagles amassed eight goals through the opening four Gameweeks but have registered consecutive blanks since then. Also of concern to Alan Pardew is the fact that Palace have conceded more shots inside the box (66) than any team in the league. That being said, they rank sixth for big chances (10) and shots on target (28), which should ensure that Watford’s back line are in for a testing afternoon.

      Yeah. And too deep for fpl. I'm just avoiding palace attackers in general. Don't think any of them are consistent point scorers, could be any in any given week

        Cabaye has fallen quite a bit though. FPL gold with NewC, move to PSG and now this.

      Gomis is going to drop, maybe him? Hazard -> De Bruyne looks fine, he has been excellent thus far! Maybe Azpi, Chelsea look all over the place defensively.

      What to do with this team?

      Myhill - McCarthy
      Darmian - Sagna - Dawson - Richards - Martin
      Sanchez -Yaya - Payet - Ayew - Mahrez
      Aguero - Gomis - Diouf.

      I am tempted to get Sturridge in, he always looks excellent when he is on the pitch. He has some tough fixtures, but he can score against anyone and tends to get big hauls when he does. I would have to downgrade Yaya though, to someone of 5.8 or lower.

      Does that sound like a plan or would you swap someone else?
