Laurent Koscielny is ruled out of Arsenal’s clash with United. Winston Reid emerges as a doubt for the Hammers. Palace are without four injured players for the visit of West Brom. Stoke are sweating on Xherdan Shaqiri’s fitness, Jordy Clasie returns to contention ahead of Southampton’s trip to Chelsea, whilst Claudio Ranieri admits that Jamie Vardy has played the last three league outings with a broken wrist.

Laurent Koscielny, Mikel Arteta and Mathieu Flamini have all been ruled out of Arsenal’s home clash with United this weekend. Arsene Wenger has confirmed that Koscielny is expected to be sidelined for three weeks with a hamstring problem.

Slaven Bilic could be without Winston Reid at the weekend, with the defender doubtful after “feeling something in his back or hip area”. Andy Carroll is also a concern, and will be assessed having trained with the fitness coaches this week. Meanwhile, Angelo Ogbonna remains sidelined for the Sunderland clash. In more positive news, Enner Valencia has returned to full training following a knee injury though is still “a few weeks” away from being involved within the squad again.

Connor Wickham, Mile Jedinak, Joel Ward and Damian Delaney all remain sidelined for the weekend after missing out at Watford through injury .The quartet are expected to return against West Ham following the international break, according to Alan Pardew.

Claudio Ranieri has revealed that Nathan Dyer is back in training following a knee injury, though the weekend comes too soon for the winger. The Leicester manager has also confirmed that Jamie Vardy is currently playing with a broken wrist sustained against Aston Villa in Gameweek 5.

Xherdan Shaqiri faces a battle to be fit for the trip to Villa Park. The summer signing has failed to train this week with an ongoing hamstring complaint, whilst Marc Wilson is also a concern for the Potters with a calf problem. Mark Hughes has also confirmed that Ryan Shawcross is back in training with the reserves as he steps up his recovery from a back injury. The Potters boss is looking to organise a couple of friendlies to quicken up his skipper’s return to action.

Roberto Martinez has confirmed it’s still “too early” to decide whether injured pair John Stones and Seamus Coleman will be available for Sunday’s Merseyside derby.

Southampton have received a boost ahead of the trip to Stamford Bridge after summer arrival Jordy Clasie was passed fit after recovering from a hamstring injury.

Alex Neil has confirmed there are no new injuries for Norwich ahead of the home clash against Leicester. Youssouf Mulumbu is back in light training, whilst Gary Hooper is two weeks away from a return.

Brendan Rodgers has conceded there is “no real change with injuries” ahead of Sunday’s Merseyside derby. Christian Benteke is to be assessed over the next 24 hours but the squad is likely to be the same as last weekend.

All this and more has now been updated in the Team News section ahead of tomorrow’s deadline. Keep an eye on our official Twitter Stream for breaking news – as the day unfolds, we will issue updates from Friday’s press conferences and refresh our Team News tab accordingly to keep you informed.

Both teams to score in the Merseyside Derby & Arsenal vs Man Utd sounds like an absolute banker double, would you agree?

Think any of those teams can actually keep a cleanie. I think BTTS is a good bet for them but wouldn't call it a banker.

      Over 2.5 goals in Spurs/City

    Coutinho or Ighalo.

Coutinho coming off the back of two assists. Perhaps the beginning of an interesting partnership with Sturridge is developing?

Ighalo playing an injury-plagued Bournemouth, however failed to score last week. (although only a week, im not a total a*sehole)

Always think it's weird when they say things like that.

What if they played great for 89 minutes and a goal up, and then give away an unlucky, dubious penalty and then concede from a deflected goal in the last minute and end up losing.

I know some of you have probably seen me posting all week. I've trying to make the most of TV out of my wildcard, and now that its Friday, I am going to try and start building my team from the bottom up. If you have any thoughts I would love to hear them.

Long term prospects please! I want to set up my team for the long haul.

    Defence!

I think I still need to steer clear of Chelsea, I like West Brom, Especially because Im not going Myhill at the back, and I really like the Francis/Nyom Rotation, so that leaves me on this...

    Kolarov, Dawson, Francis/Nyom, Dier

    Whad'ya think everyone?

    1. Daniel Levy- Not the Chairm…
      • 11 Years
      10 years, 4 months ago

My defence is very similar on my WC. I think Dier may be a risk once the Spurs DMs all become fit again, so would say Toby is a better option. Also, why Dawson over Evans?

      1. Gazpilicueta
        • 11 Years
        10 years, 4 months ago

Had Dawson from before WC his goal changed my last gameweek from 20 points to 27, i have nothing against him....so why not keep. maybe he scores again soon.

Kolorov Dawson Francis and Nyom is sound. Soare of Palce is an option, over Francis for me

      Then its
Dier, Swansea, Betrand choice in that range for me. Personally like Bert but cant fault the Dier pick really. Other have put up Jaanmat, i just dont want a Newcastle defender

Mane or Mata? Mane because Ivanovic is in terrible form ATM, and Mata because he is in form and against Arsenal without Koscielny, Flamini and Arteta.

No idea who to bring in, currently on wildcard and undecided between Mata and Mane.

    1. RustyBz
      • 11 Years

You should not be considering that he's playing against Ivanovic, Southamptons front 3 is so fluid and Tadic has been out wide a lot in that position.

But I'd go Mata over Mane just because Mata has a higher % of influence on United goals.

Help! WC played. Sturridge Tadic/Lukaku Mata??
    No double ups.
Thinking of going A and changing to B in 3 weeks for Evertons tasty run. United's next 3 are awful too...

Don't plan ahead like that, things never go to plan - there will be injuries elsewhere in your team and other players finding form.

Well I brought in Kolarov couple weeks ago. He's got me a total 0 points.

Also, it hurt me to watch him defend against Borussia M on Wednesday :(. Like really hurt.

    Here’s my current team:

    Myhill (Pants)
    Naughton / Schlupp / Nyom / (Azpi / Cedric)
Ayew / Haz / Coutinho / Mahrez (Surman)
    Martial / Aguero / Wilson

    2FT’s and 0.9 itb.

My thoughts to do Wilson -> Sakho

My second transfer is less simple. The above leaves £6.9 itb could bring in Barkley?
    Or potentially Haz -> Sanchez?
Or could just save an FT?

Cheers lads. I was thinking sanchez next week and very few in my league have hazard.

Was keeping some in the bank for when the higher priced strikers start performing or is this a bad move?

Bench Ritchie. Watford will be water tight & Bournemouth without Wilson are about as dangerous as Wales without Bale.
