Laurent Koscielny is ruled out of Arsenal’s clash with United. Winston Reid emerges as a doubt for the Hammers. Palace are without four injured players for the visit of West Brom. Stoke are sweating on Xherdan Shaqiri’s fitness, Jordy Clasie returns to contention ahead of Southampton’s trip to Chelsea, whilst Claudio Ranieri admits that Jamie Vardy has played the last three league outings with a broken wrist.

Laurent Koscielny, Mikel Arteta and Mathieu Flamini have all been ruled out of Arsenal’s home clash with United this weekend. Arsene Wenger has confirmed that Koscielny is expected to be sidelined for three weeks with a hamstring problem.

Slaven Bilic could be without Winston Reid at the weekend, with the defender doubtful after “feeling something in his back or hip area”. Andy Carroll is also a concern, and will be assessed having trained with the fitness coaches this week. Meanwhile, Angelo Ogbonna remains sidelined for the Sunderland clash. In more positive news, Enner Valencia has returned to full training following a knee injury though is still “a few weeks” away from being involved within the squad again.

Connor Wickham, Mile Jedinak, Joel Ward and Damian Delaney all remain sidelined for the weekend after missing out at Watford through injury .The quartet are expected to return against West Ham following the international break, according to Alan Pardew.

Claudio Ranieri has revealed that Nathan Dyer is back in training following a knee injury, though the weekend comes too soon for the winger. The Leicester manager has also confirmed that Jamie Vardy is currently playing with a broken wrist sustained against Aston Villa in Gameweek 5.

Xherdan Shaqiri faces a battle to be fit for the trip to Villa Park. The summer signing has failed to train this week with an ongoing hamstring complaint, whilst Marc Wilson is also a concern for the Potters with a calf problem. Mark Hughes has also confirmed that Ryan Shawcross is back in training with the reserves as he steps up his recovery from a back injury. The Potters boss is looking to organise a couple of friendlies to quicken up his skipper’s return to action.

Roberto Martinez has confirmed it’s still “too early” to decide whether injured pair John Stones and Seamus Coleman will be available for Sunday’s Merseyside derby.

Southampton have received a boost ahead of the trip to Stamford Bridge after summer arrival Jordy Clasie was passed fit after recovering from a hamstring injury.

Alex Neil has confirmed there are no new injuries for Norwich ahead of the home clash against Leicester. Youssouf Mulumbu is back in light training, whilst Gary Hooper is two weeks away from a return.

Brendan Rodgers has conceded there is “no real change with injuries” ahead of Sunday’s Merseyside derby. Christian Benteke is to be assessed over the next 24 hours but the squad is likely to be the same as last weekend.

All this and more has now been updated in the Team News section ahead of tomorrow’s deadline. Keep an eye on our official Twitter Stream for breaking news – as the day unfolds, we will issue updates from Friday’s press conferences and refresh our Team News tab accordingly to keep you informed.

    Gomis > Murray?

Murray must be nailed on now Wilson is out and Bournemouth are pretty attacking.

I think they may be forced to try and play tight games with Wilson out. Can see a lot more 1-0s involving Bournemouth now.

Yep, will do in international break I think, not going to drop again though before so would be good to have 2x FT to use together and current defence can cover him not playing..

Almost my team DACRA. Midfield / Forwards exactly same.

I feel i'm really going to regret not doing KDB in for Coutinho if I don't do it.

I always tend to make the wrong 50/50 calls. Can see them both doing something to be honest.

But KDB value increase potential means I'd have to do it now.

Is this gtg? I have no more FTs left so would have to take a hit to improve Huth which I'm thinking of leaving till past international week to swop out either Targett or Gomez. Thanks!

    Fabianski
    Sakho Kolarov Huth
    Mahrez Payet Ritchie Sanchez

I agree. I'm in the same boat with Huth, Gomez, McCarthy and Targett. I've used my FT on Wilson and feel that it's not worth a hit to improve Huth this week
The way things are going this year there will be more surgery required next week!

    Some advice here lads?

    Begovic
    Kolarov Naughton Dawson/Skrtel
    Sanchez Yaya Coutinho Ayew Mahrez
    Aguero Vardy

    0.7 banked, 1 FT

Have identified that if I want to use my FT, it would be for Payet or Mata.

    A) Yaya > Mata
    B) Yaya > Payet
    C) Ayew > Payet
    D) Save for 2 FTs over int'l break

Does your answer change if Yaya is fit/out?

Looks like we'll have about 400k new Vardy owners for this gw.

Last saturday I was very close doing Ayew, Wilson => Hoolahan, Vardy (-4),
but decided to play Ayew and just bench Wilson this gw.

Oh boy, if I'll end up doing Wilson => Vardy after internationals, I might have lost 0.8m in net value by refusing to take that hit! (Vardy 0.4 - 0.5, Ayew 0.1 and Wilson 0.2)

I really should have done it 🙂

At least Chelsea plays a few easy fixtures in coming weeks. And Hazard can't play so poorly all the time just have to wait a bit.

I checked his stats and what is curious he always starts scoring goals and assists after GW7. His time is coming.

Yes... I remember last year Palace was working on all cylinders and they had WBA at home... it ended up 0;2.

Plus.. I don't like rotate and my first keeper is always Tony Pulis keeper 🙂 but this time I have a feeling they did not manage. Chester is completely useless

Chester always trolls me, though not in JEvans and Phil Jones league. Suppose C Dawson has the goal threat, though I always bench at the wrong time and he's not overly cheap.

Sanchez (MUN) - Sterling (NEW) - Coutinho (eve) - Mahrez (nor) - Hoolahan (LEI)
Aguero (NEW) - Martial (ars) - Vardy (nor)

OR, would you play AOA, and drop one of Kolarov (NEW), Francis (WAT) or Dawson (cry) instead?

Cheers both. Was leaning towards benching Martial initially but Arsenal's midweek CL defence made me think otherwise. In two minds about Coutinho, feel like Norwich v Leicester could be a goal-fest so tempted to put Hoolahan in the first XI but then don't really want to use the AOA chip yet (and all three defs have decent fixtures). Bloody headache...

        currently this

        DDG Hennessey

        Kolarov, Dawson, Francis/Nyom, Dier

        Sanchez, Mahrez, Mata Payet, Gosling

        Aguero, Pelle, Vardy

If I go Payet to Kouyate, I can go Mata > KDB until Matas fixtures change, and Gosling > Westwood, plus Dier to Bertrand at some point

Gomez going today but for who? Current thinking is a Spuds or Swansea defender - rest of defence is Kolorov, Darmian, Evans, Richards.

So a) Spuds or b) Swans or c) Neither

He's actually a great pick but I'm not sure he would be 100 % nailed every week but had a good mention from his last game by the manager, played great.

I hope he leaves Kone on the bench and plays him and Naismith out wide.

I'd probably play safe and get Bark but it's a flair pick if you go for it. Good player.

With Koscielny out, I've got three playing defenders in Kolarov, Evans and Cedric.
    Pick one to bench:

    Hi all,

Is there any way of finding out what price i bought Yaya in for? I got him in GW3 but can't be sure on the price. and I didn't make a note of his sell on value before his drop earlier this week.

Now i'm afraid his potential second drop will hurt my team

no it's only every 0.2m drop takes away 0.1 from the sell on value.

That's what is puzzling me. Easiest thing I should have done it note his sell on value before his drop. #hindsight
