    The Senegal vs Guinea(Thursday 16th October) game is an African Nations Championship game and NOT an African Cup of Nations Qualifier.

    The African Nations Championship exclusively features players who are active in the national championships and qualified to play in the ongoing season. Expatriate players, regardless of where they play, even in Africa, are not qualified to take part in the African Championship of Nations.

    Souaré, Gueye, Kouyaté, Diouf, Sakho and Mané are all exempt from said competition and will only be eligible for the friendlies against Egypt(Wednesday 7th October) and Algeria(Monday 12th October).
