The EA Index scores for gameweek 7 are now available and the Fantasy Premier League bonus points have now been added to the game. Read on for our breakdown of how these mapped out – we will update you should any EA PPI stats or bonus points be reviewed.

Aston Villa 2 Wigan 0
Agbonlahor 3, Collins 2, Bannan 1

Gabby Agbonlahor was well out in front in the PPI stakes and, with a goal and an assist, there can be no complaints on his 3 bonus award. James Collins put in another strong defensive display – enough to see him earn another couple of bonus, with Barry Bannan adding to his maximum at QPR with another single bonus point – courtesy of his assist in this game.

Blackburn 0 Man City 4
Nasri 3, Johnson 2, Kolarov 1

With a goal and two more assists in this City victory, it’s no shock to see Samir Nasri fetch the top PPI score and help himself to 3 bonus – his first maximum of the season. Adam Johnson’s crucial opener provides him with the platform for his first bonus, while Aleksandar Kolarov picked up the remaining point, edging out David Silva in the PPI stakes with an assist and clean sheet.

Bolton 1 Chelsea 5
Lampard 3, Sturridge 2, Luiz 1

Back in form, back in the goals and subsequently in line for 3 bonus points from Chelsea’s Reebok demolition. It’s no surprise to see Daniel Sturridge pick up the 2, while David Luiz came away with a couple of assists which helped him to an impressive PPI haul.

Everton 0 Liverpool 2
Carroll 3, Enrique 2, Kelly 1

Andy Carroll’s opener sealed him Liverpool’s leading PPI score in the win at Everton. Jose Enrique provided the assist for that opening goal and that helped him to a high ranking and 2 bonus points. Martin Kelly is perhaps a surprise for the single bonus point however – his PPI presumably boosted by the clean sheet, which saw him edge out Luis Suarez by just 2 points in the Index (26 vs 24).

Fulham 6 QPR 0
Johnson 3, Zamora 2, Murphy 1

These always looked cut and dry – Andy Johnson’s hat-trick and Bobby Zamora’s goal and assists settle the top spots in the PPI. Danny Murphy’s spot-kick and assist contributed to him collecting a single bonus; Clint Dempsey was unlucky not to be in line for extra points considering a strong PPI score of 32 on the day.

Man United 2 Norwich 0
Anderson 3, Jones 2, Evans 1

Anderson was clearly out in front when it comes to United’s PPI scores – his opening goal helping him to the maximum bonus here. Phil Jones and Jonny Evans came away with clean sheets and accrued defensive stats that helped them collect the remainder. Danny Welbeck and Antonio Valencia were just outside bonus recognition.

Sunderland 2 West Brom 2
Bendtner 3, Long 2, Elmohamady 1

Nicklas Bendtner earned his first FPL bonus of the season with a goal and an assist in the 2-2 with West Brom. The Baggies’ Shane Long is line for the 2 bonus, with Elmohamady picking up the remainder, just edging out team-mate Seb Larsson.

Swansea 2 Stoke 0
Graham 3, Sinclair & Allen 2

Danny Graham’s first goal in the top flight fetches him the maximum with Scott Sinclair having to share the 2 bonus with Joe Allen who earned an assist. That meant that both Ashley Williams and Neil Taylor – tied on 19 PPI – both missed out.

Tottenham 2 Arsenal 1
Walker 3, Van der Vaart 2, Adebayor 1

Kyle Walker’s winner is enough to earn him the maximum here with Rafael Van der Vaart in on the act courtesy of his opening goal. Adebayor provided the assist for that strike – no surprise to see him collect the remaining bonus then. Aaron Ramsey was just a single PPI point from sharing that bonus.

Wolves 1 Newcastle 2
Gutierrez 3, Tiote 2, Cabaye 1

No real surprise here – Gutierrez scored the decisive second goal with Cabaye providing the assist for Ba’s opener. Tiote presumably collected some impressive performance statistics to help him to 2 bonus – we will break those down in detail over in our Scout bonus breakdown at the FPL later today.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

Defo A,ive got bosingwa since the start and take away his goal and assists he wouldnt be doing that well,Chelsea never keep a clean sheet.Plus he was took off for Ivanovic after 50 mins yesterday could be a rotation risk.Spurs got some good games so VDV a must and getting in on Sturridge while hes cheap could be the move of the season

Carroll was a donkey against Everton, apart from the goal and one header on target I can't see what qualified him for 3 points.

He scored a goal and, I think, he only had a few shots but all (or most) were on target, so that wins him the 3 baps I'd guess. But yeah, he was awful I thought.

Bent and Suarez were both in teams that kept clean sheets though - that boosted the PPI returns for defenders. As for Ba - I can only presume that Cabaye and Tiote put in strong stat performances. Ba got 19 PPI compared to Tiote 24 and Cabaye 21.

A is the strongest all round and makes your team the most balanced IMO.

However, I like any option with Aguero in it though too, as both Man City and Aguero are on fire at the moment. (Not counting this particular GW for Aguero of course)

i cant see sunderland stoke and west brom doing that much offensively at the emirates

doesnt matter though as wont be touching them at their prices but if he had been 4-4.5m id rather have him that a norwich or qpr defender for example

You just said no cleanies on the horizon, so why would u get him?

If Arsenal had the first choice back 4 except Jenkinson in for Sagna, thats different but they have only really got Mertasaker in their back 4 as first choice.

Anyway, like u say hes too expensive to consider.

Yes we compared to Dream Team the FPL prices don't make sense. Mata is £3.5m in DT compared to Young/Silva/Nasri/Nani all at £5.5/6m, which is fair enough as he has no track record, in FPL he's in the £9.5m bracket with the rest...

But saying that Kompany is £5.5m in DT the same price as the aforementioned mids and Aguero and Saurez?! The choice defenders are £6-7.5m the same value as RVP so maybe FPl is half right after all?

It used to be so easy when you just had Gerrard/Fab/Ronny/Lamps to choose from in the midfield top price bracket! Now with Young and Nasri moving it's mucked it up a bit as you've now got two Manc options for City and Utd, no real Arsenal, two Chels, and no Pool with Gerrard injured..

your team isn't that bad you could probably hold off for a bit longer and just use the weekly transfer to sub one defender at a time. I would use a 3,4,3 formation your strikers and midfielders are good apart from Fox

Thanks! My only concern is that I don't think I can use my free transfers on defenders as i'm looking to save a transfer this gw and then getting Suarez and Ramsey in for Mata and Zamora! Really tempted to use the wildcard but I guess you're right that it might be better to hold off for a little longer.

Don't sell Zamora he is comming good. Mata maybe. Perhaps those moves for Ramsey and Suarez could wait a little longer their price won't rise this gameweek I don't think. It might be prudent to give it a few more weeks and see how Ramsey and Suarez go. Perhaps get one defender for this week then save one for the double transfer 2 weeks after

Seems at the moment like every two weeks I find a way to bring Kompany in but then end up going 5.0 + 4.5 instead - looking at Woodgate and Enrique now over Kompany + 4.0. It always seems like you'll get a komparable haul for 0.5 less but once you factor in all the transfers you'll use over tjhe course of the season re-jigging those guys it might be worth just having Bos and Kompany and rotating 4.0s for that last spot. What think ye?

At least with Kompany you can just start him every week and forget about it, but then when you look at the shorter term picture and think "either stoke defender or Enrique at home every week for less money" it's difficult to fork out that 6m.

I've gone Bos, Enrique & Komp and will just pretty much play them every week. Rest of my defense is dirt cheap. It's working ok for me at the moment (I've had some CS, a few assists and a goal from them).

But if I were you I'd avoid Bosingwa. He's risen considerably since I bought him in WK1 for 5.5 and I have a feeling that he's about to be replaced by Ivanovich. Bos came off after 53mins after yet another lacklustre defensive performance.

Enrique and Komp are season keepers for me though

I dont think Bosingwa will be dropped. If anything, Luiz playing striker/mid is what made them a bit wobbly in defence!

Of course it's just my opinion, no way of second guessing AVB but I've watched most of Chelseas games and Bosingwa is suspect defensively. Ivan looked handy when hecame on too.

Hope AVB doesnt agree with me cos he's a cheap in to Chelsea DF

The problem with this strategy for me is that it feels wasteful insofar as the likes of Simpson and Naylor are raking in the cleanies at susbtantially less.

True stilicho but how long will this trend continue? I'd be surprised if we got to the end of the season and those two are still at the top.

    Good morning all.

Just thought I would let you know that I had planned to have Aguero in my team this week for a one week only cameo and he fell flat on his face.

I feel responsible for your losses, and I am sorry.

    Cole - Hutton
    Taarabt - Petrov
    Holt - Ade

Paid off 🙂 clawed back the gap to 70 points 🙂 and this week i have a good selection headache 🙂 onwards and upwards

wildcarded, got 61 pts.....about 10 more than if I hadn't but more importantly now have the team I want....that is until they all get injured on international duty.

And chuffed to have broken the 400pt barrier.

While Torres is out Sturridge is a 6.5 chelsea forward that will play...that's too good a deal to turn down.

When Torres is back there is a rotation risk and there's always Anelka waiting in the wings but I'm pretty chuffed to have him for the short term at least.

I need to let Jarvis go before he drops. Best option midfilder (up to 9.0 cost)

    b) Myrphy

Jarvis looked pretty dangerous on Saturday I thought, and given fix like Swansea at home, Wigan at home etc it might end up being worth taking 0.1 sell-on loss to give him a shot in those games.

I hate the phrase as well. But it seems Wolves deserved a point at least yesterday with a couple harsh decisions. In that respect if they keep their spirits up, they'll earn their win.

Had a nice cushty 6 point lead in my head2head last night, sitting with Suarez, Rooney, Silva, Vorm, Brunt etc.

Alas I get Zero bonus, my opponent gets 6 from Enrique, Sinclair, and Adebayor captain.

And we tie. Cruel fu*king game.

Adebayor was non-existant aside from one pass btw.
