Sometimes, even those Fantasy managers who factor in form above all else are forced to revise their approach by the machinations of the Premier League fixture computer.

One of those sometimes is now.

Everton’s run of opponents, right up until the end of the year, is nothing short of extraordinary.

Beginning with the weekend’s Goodison Park meeting with struggling Sunderland, Roberto Martinez’s men avoid all of last season’s top eight clubs between Gameweek 11-19.

Sunday’s encounter is the first of five home matches in a run that has Aston Villa, Crystal Palace, Leicester City and Stoke drop in on Merseyside. Around the home comforts, the Toffees travel to face West Ham, Bournemouth, Norwich and Newcastle – a less than daunting menu of away trips.

Suddenly, Fantasy managers are scanning Martinez’ squad and attempting to decipher the key targets and the optimum time to draft them in.

In this latest article for members, we’ll attempt to tackle this subject head on. Firstly, by analysing Everton’s current form in detail, before assessing their major performers and weighing up the merits of investment ahead Saturdays Gameweek 11 deadline.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

    Williams, Kolorov, Cresswell, Huth, Yoshida
Payet, De Bruyne, Hazard, Ayew, Mahrez
    Martial, Pelle, Vardy

Incase it was missed yesterday, Echo said that Milner will return as captain and Skrtel +Sakho are first choice CB's. Firmino will surely start after his appearance mid week so I can only assume that Lallana/Can or Coutinho will be dropped.

interesting to see that Coutinho hasn't kicked on properly. earlier in the season many here were talking about him being almost world class. He's basically had one good season so far in his career, so is this a case of regressing to the norm, or is there still a chance he'll come good?

I dont see Coutinho anywhere near world class. Average player in my eyes

he's playing behind the striker atm, that's not his best position. He is better playing from a deeper position. It will be interesting to see how Klopp works him and Firmino into the side

There are fitness issues re Firmino, with him still not having played much after injury and playing 85 in midweek. Can, Milner, Coutinho and Lallana all rested midweek, and Lucas is nailed on to start. I expect Jurgen to start Firmino on the bench, be solid for the first half and bring him on second half

maybe, but he made such a difference and Liverpool have looked so toothless previously that I think he should start

Id very much like him to start too, but dont think he will.

Barkley average 4.9 ppg over 10 tough games.. yet he blanked in 6 of those games and scored just 29 in his last 8.
Bottomline: You need to be patient if you get him in and keep him for a long stretch at a time.. luckily his great fixtures till next year warrant just that.
Note: If he could score 49 in his 10 tough games imagine how much he'll score in his next 10 easier games 😉
