We carry out our club-by-club scan of the treatment rooms, on the day that West Ham playmaker Dimitri Payet was ruled out for up to three months with an ankle injury sustained against Everton.

Elsewhere, Liverpool face an anxious wait for the full prognosis on Mamadou Sakho’s knee problem, whilst City are boosted by Sergio Aguero’s progress, as Wilfried Bony is left nursing his hamstring.

Arsenal

Santi Cazorla was replaced by Manuel Flamini at half time of the North London derby, in what initially looked like a tactical decision. Arsene Wenger revealed in his post-match press conference, however, that the Spanish playmaker was suffering from dizziness that affected his mobility:

“We suffered in the first half because Cazorla was at 30 per cent of his potential, he was dizzy. I was sitting there thinking do I take him off or not? You never know, maybe it will get better. At half-time I took him off, and in the second half we had a bit better balance. He is not sick, he was just dizzy and could not move, you could see that on the pitch. I did not really know what he had, so at half-time I took him off, I hope it is nothing bad, but it does not look like it, because he says he is alright now.”

Bournemouth

Eddie Howe confirmed that Marc Pugh – who was withdraw after 45 minutes last Gameweek – was unavailable for selection after failing to shake off a knock.

Chelsea

The Blues defender Kurt Zouma has withdrawn from duties for the France Under 21 side due to an unspecified injury earlier today.

Crystal Palace

Eagles fitness coach John Salako has issued an update on Dwight Gayle, who missed the weekend win over Liverpool due to a hamstring injury:

“Dwight works very hard and, unfortunately, I think he’s got a Grade Two tear – he’s had the scan. He could face three-to-four weeks on the sidelines now. He is young so we’ll see, it could be two weeks, it could be (up to) four.”

Everton

Tyias Browning picked up a minor knee injury in training during the week, ruling him out for England U21’s match-up against Bosnia on Thursday. Toffees boss Roberto Martinez went on to say:

“We had a warm-up game on Wednesday and he picked up an injury in his knee. It is nothing serious but we’ll have to speak with England and manage that situation. I don’t think he’ll be available for the next game, but he could be available for the game against Switzerland in Brighton.”

Fellow full-back Brendan Galloway is also being assessed ahead of England U21’s upcoming pair of matches. Earlier today, manager Gareth Southgate revealed:

“Brendan is being assessed now, he is with us. It’s a muscular injury but we don’t want to take any chances. Maybe he is okay for Thursday; maybe he is okay for Monday. We don’t know.”

Liverpool

The Merseysiders were rocked earlier this evening after scans confirmed that Mamadou Sakho is set for a period on the sidelines after limping off early during the weekend loss to Palace. Liverpool expect to discover the likely period of absence tomorrow, with the Frenchman set to see a specialist.

Jordon Ibe has withdrawn from England U21 duties against Bosnia and Switzerland with a knee injury, The youngster suffered no more than bruising, though, and is expected to be available for the Gameweek 13 trip to City.

James Milner sat out Sunday’s defeat having suffered a hamstring injury in their Europa League clash against Rubin Kazan. After the Anfield loss, Jurgen Klopp played down the severity of the injury:

“In Kazan, he had not the best moment with his muscle. But he’s an experienced player, and it was nothing serious and in this moment he can train.”

Manchester City

Wilfried Bony pulled up with a hamstring problem at Villa Park and had to be substituted at the 24-minute mark. Although Manuel Pellegrini doesn’t expect the Ivorian to play for his country during the international break, he did suggest that Bony could travel with the squad to get his injury assessed:

“It is difficult to know at this moment how serious his hamstring injury is. We will see tomorrow. I don’t know – maybe he will have to go and join up with Ivory Coast. His country must review the injury. But I don’t think he will be able to play and he will return to Manchester.”

In more positive developments for the Sky Blues, Pellegrini reported that a quartet of injured players are progressing well in their rehabilitation, with Sergio Aguero targeting a return next Gamweek against Liverpool:

“I hope that this week he [Aguero], (David) Silva, (Samir) Nasri and (Pablo) Zabaleta, will work with the physiotherapist and next Monday they will start working with the squad. We will see in the way he improves this week, but I think there is a chance he can be (back for Liverpool).”

Earlier today, Aguero took to twitter to confirm:

“Giving it my all on recovery work. There’s still more to go but getting better by the day!”

Manchester United

Marouane Fellaini missed Manchester United’s 2-0 home win over West Bromwich Albion and will not travel with Belgium ahead of their back-to-back friendlies, given that he sustained an injury in training.

Norwich City

Nathan Redmond was sidelined for the Canaries’ win over Swansea and has withdrawn from international duty with the England U21s, having injured his thigh in midweek.

Newcastle United

In the wake of the Magpies’ 1-0 road victory against Bournemouth, stand-in shot-stopper Rob Elliot revealed that he played against the advice of the club’s doctors. The former Charlton keeper is nursing a thigh injury but is confident that a fortnight of rest will hold him in good stead when Leicester City pay a visit next Gameweek.

“If you ask the manager, I was always playing. If you ask the doctor, then I probably wasn’t playing last week either. I was always going to play, and I didn’t know how good or bad it was going to be. It wasn’t too bad today, it was quite painful and I just had to get underneath the ball and lift it, you just don’t want to let the team down. I said to the manager, if you want me to play I will play, but just so long as I’m not going to hinder the team. I’m going to go and see the specialist and hopefully get some good news off him. Get some treatment, get some strength, get some rest. Hopefully I’ll be ready for Leicester and hopefully (we can) start showing the team that we can be, rather than the team we could be.”

Sunderland

John O’Shea is carrying a hamstring injury and will be assessed by Sunderland’s medical team to determine his availability for Ireland’s Euro 2012 qualifying play-off:

“Rob Elliot, John O’Shea, Paul McShane, Alan Judge, and Shane Long will all be assessed by their respective clubs before reporting for international duty.”

West Ham United

The Hammers have been dealt a major blow after Dimitri Payet was ruled out for around three months with an ankle injury sustained against Everton on Saturday. His replacement against the Toffees, Enner Valencia, was forced off with a similar complaint and will be assessed by a specialist early next week, the club’s official website has revealed.

I created a members table to look into this and I don't think they are worth it. If you have the cash and space I would seriously consider Scott Dann. His stats in terms of attacking threat are greater than say that of Puncheon.

Decided to hold on the Payet transfer. If I lose 0.1 selling value, so be it. Sanchez has two South American qualifiers where he could easily pick up an injury, likewise other players.

Yeah, annoying. There seem to be loads this year.

I'd quite like a block booking of international time where the manager gets the players for 3 weeks and they play a friendly and 2 qualifying games in that period. Something like that anyway instead of all these flights.

Just finish the season a month earlier (which is achievable without all the international weeks) and have them all then.

WC tinkering, is this potential team wasting value by being too heavy up top?

    Cech (Hennessey)
    Sagna, Rojo, Alderwireld (Moreno, Bennett)
    Sanchez, Ozil, Mahrez, Lanzini (Surman)
    Aguero, Lukaku, Kane

This would be purely on the basis that Aguero is confirmed fully fit.

I currently have KDB, so he's definitely on the radar. The idea behind the Ozil/Sanchez was to maximise their upcoming excellent fixtures and Sanchez on his day is a 4th striker.

This is very much a random thought which could be a disaster!

No... too expensive. I thought about him but I would have to completely change my defence.

Cheap version of defence Rojo - Bertrand - Moreno - Wollscheid - Simpon would give me enough money to leave KDB in my team

Can you strengthen one of the keepers?
Maybe get DeGea and save on one of the defenders
Smalling to maybe Sagna as DeG gives you United cover

I don't fancy DDG - no save points which means no bonus points. I prefer United defender

Odds are stacked against him, but I really hope Michu over comes that gnarled ankle of his and gets back to top level with some playing time.

Yes sir. Remember when he first joined Swansea reading a lengthy interview with him and with former managers who gushed about what a great guy he was. True shame.

No chance - he is toast - Swans can't give him away or even loan him out to cover his wages

Already sorted, he has left Swansea and joined his brother's team in Spain. Its 4th division, but he needs some actual match play to start getting back to the game.

Swans released him and he is a free agent and has joined 4th Division is Spain, no one else was interested ? Says something really ?

I read (on here) that Celtic came in for him but he said he was considering retiring. Not sure how true this is.

Aye that was the case, his ankle is in a really terrible way. He has left Swansea to join the team his brother manages (Union Langreo) and will be eligible to play for them in January I think.

@Demi, i see you were gonna do Payet and Martial ---> Lanzini & Kane earlier..

What did you go with in the end? Lots of Kane talk, can you afford Kane and Ozil?

I was yeah, but decided to go heavier after all and got both Kane and Ozil. Back of my mind worrying about Mane not starting against Stoke due to internationals.

Also did Kolaroc > Moreno to free up funds for Aguero

Interesting.. Toying with Payet & Bony out here and its down to Ozil & Kane/ Lukaku..

Mind me asking what swayed you with Kane over Lukaku?
Tonight is obv the night to do it with the rise looming..

Already had Lukaku, but probably would've got Kane in still if i hadn't. Just trust him as a player more

Payet to Ozil or Countinho. If I do Coutinho it means I can get Aguero with 1 transfer for Pelle, if I do Ozil I'll need to use two transfers and downgrade Janmaat or Myhill.

          Aye I know I'm gutted.

I was benching Payet this week anyway so didn't mind if he missed out and I wanted to keep after that - didn't realize he'd be out so long.

Best 5th 4.5-4.6 mid? Enabler for Aguero, mainly bench but some rotation when it makes sense. Asking a later crew.

    A. Ibe
    B. Lingard
    C. Drinkwater
    D. Other

    Currently on Ibe

Stats are close. Like idea of a playable mid with injuries seemingly mounting

What to do with this team? Rank slipping steadily away from that 10k mark

    Butland - McCarthy

Azpi - Sagna - Van Dijk - whittaker - targett

    payet - sanchez - surman - KDB - mahrez

    Bony - pelle - vardy

    4million ITB 2 FT

Got payet in at 7.5, is he dropping tonight....?
