          Smalling at 6.9 is too much. Yeah. But Rambo and probably Theo are fine, the other 2 are too injury prone and especially this Christmas period where each teams plays 3 games a week puts me off.

          I am looking to save some money for them as well. But it might take a bit of time for them to come tbh.

        What's the LB situation at United Arvin? How long will Valencia take to recover?

        I am also thinking about Myhill to DDG for my team, bit reluctant. Myhill has some decent fixtures coming up

          ATM, Darmian has the LB spot for some reason. McNair has the RB spot and I believe he will soon be displaced by Young, or they will rotate. Darmian should be pretty safe, imo. If Young comes into the side I believe it will be for McNair before Darmian. So there's not much competition for Darmian once Young is in the side.

          I'm unsure on the Valencia injury but I believe he's out for most of the season after undergoing surgery.

          Think I would stick with Myhill considering the fixtures, but United defence does look a season long worthy investment.

    Decent success with the model this week, a fairly pleasing distribution of FPL scores. Mahrez an obvious miss, especially as it was the biggest score, but it can't possibly predict everything aye 😉 Hopefully, I can rectify that but I'm not sure its a mistake more than a surprise haul from Mahrez. Some added importance on assist potential would probably help his score, but he scored 3 goals this week, 0 assists.

          Hazard and frankly, I am not happy with it.

          I am happy with Hazard, he does come close to scoring a lot of times, it's just the team around him. Not one finisher and Costa has been doing everything on the pitch but trying to score goals.

            There are factors that a model can't quite capture and I strongly believed Kane would come up with a haul this week. Obviously, I was wrong but at least its win-lose with the model being right. 😛

                But this time I, like you last week, will probably captain Kane haha. My reasoning is Chelsea will park the bus and Kane can edge Ighalo on basis of ownership.

      Yeah, even though I'm gutted I went for Rojo and missed out on all the rises I am tempted to pay the premium for him. With Mahrez from GW1 and Ighalo a few rises ago there's plenty of cash sloshing around.

          What's ITB? If Cout is injured and you have cash Id be tempted to slot Alli in for Wanyama. Playing CAM at 5M in a good side is just nuts and a great fixture this week

      I know many of you think if I'm going to bench Eden I should sell him but I want him for SUN so not selling yet. Thought Mane looked more likely to score points than Hazard at the weekend hence this question.

        Bit of both.

        Walcott will be on the wings. Campbell will be put back onto the bench. Walcott has come on with giroud still on the pitch in the sat game. So that's a sign of how Arsenal will line up

        But Theo can and will explode. And when he does. I'll be there.

      morning dzzz, how we doing? finally a green arrow after 6 gw's 🙂 (my longest poor run)

      have a few dilemmas..sigh 1FT and 0.5m

      henessey - begovic
      moreno cedric janmaat --- simspon souare
      mahrez hazard yaya ozil --- mane
      vardy kane kaku

      - need to get rid of begovic..can do it this gw but can play henessey (SOT)
      - def is looking really bad for new 3 gw's...will bench souare if i play henessey
      - so question is whether to improve def or gk this gw..
      - happy with mid..ideally would like to downgrade mane and upgrade yaya to kdb

      A: begovic >> any gk that rotates well with henessey...lloris/butland/gomes/courtois/panti
      B: souare >> 5m def (pva?)...removing souare as i already have henessey.
      C: janmaat >> 5.4m def (zouma/dier?)...janmaat kept a cs but only 1 decent fix in next 5
      D: cedric >> 5.5m def...saints look off form
      E: yaya + souare >> ayew + kolorav (-4)...solves a benching headache as mane/ayew/vardy have a decent rotation..means no city attacking coverage (although yaya isnt really coverage)
